Used 2004 Chevrolet Malibu Consumer Reviews
Love my Malibu
This is the second review I give now that I've owned it 2 1/2 months longer than the first review on 12/14/03. I absolutely love the car. I was interested in an Impala until I saw the Malibu. I have a very small problem with the seats but this has gotten better. I would definitely recommend the Malibu.

2004 Malibu
The 2004 Malibu is a delight to drive. The 3.5 liter, 200 horse power engine provides more than enough power for hills and passing. The sleek exterior design is attractive and easy to wash.
Cute, but glad I got the warranty
I researched for about two months before purchasing my 2004 Chevy Malibu. I found the Malibu to be the best fit for me, a traveling college bound student. The car its self handles very well and I always have fun driving it. The fuel economy isn't the greatest, at 23 mpg, but not worth complaining about. Shortly after I bought it, I realized the windshield wiper fluid didn't work when the button was pushed and the seat didn't work. I'm having issues with it starting slowly. Although I'm not sure if this is do to the car, or the Cleveland cold weather. My sister got stuck in the passenger side because the door wouldn't open from the inside. Great car, but I'm glad I got the warranty.
New Malibu - First Impressions
Purchased this vehicle last week and have put about 250 miles on the odometer. Chevrolet may have a winner here. Haven't considered a Chevy in 22 years, but it stacked up well against the VW Passat, Honda Accord, and Mazda6 that we also considered. Pushrod V6 provides plenty of power (200 HP) and lots of torque (220 ftlb). Loaded with useful features and plenty of room (101 cu ft EPA passenger space). Averaging over 22 MPG in mostly city driving so far. Chevy's attempt at a "manu-matic" shift lever needs work. 4th gear cannot be selected in manual mode.
