I bought my Impala LT2 brand new. It now has just over 46K miles. It is a very comfortable car with tons of luggage space in the trunk. The rear seats are roomy. The 3.9L engine has plenty of power. The only irritating thing is the intermittent clicking noise that comes from the left side just below the driver's footboard. Other than the clicking noise, it is a very reliable car.

Bought my 06 Impala with 36,000mi on it in 2007. Since then I have put 46,000mi on it. It has never been in the shop for repairs. I average 29 mpg on the highway and 22 in the city. I can some times get up to 31 on the highway and that's great form the 3.9L engine it has.

I bought it used at 12,000 miles, now at 50,000. It has been in two fender benders (other drivers faults) and besides the repair work, has not been in a shop once. On the highway CT to NH, I get 33 miles per gallon there and back at 60 mph. Highway mileage is great, just keep the speed down. Front seats go back far (I am tall) but there is less rear leg room then the 2003 style impala. Tons of rear space when the front seats are push up. Lifetime gas mileage is about 23 mpg. Computer led display is nice, no vents have broke, my driver side floor mat wore out, and has three cigarette lighter jacks. I love the car, and plan on keeping it for years more.

I usually do not do this because all vehicles can have problems; however, we love this car. We can get 32mph highway and 25 in town. It has the larger engine and has great snap. It is fun to drive. It has been very reliable (47k) I really like the fold down seats. Two minor complaints. more cup holders in front and the leather model should have a auto/rearview mirror. MN.
