A Great Second-Hand Car
I purchased the Corsica in Nov. 97 and have driven it 280000 km with only routine mtnc and very few repairs. This is the second Corsica I have own the first was a 4 cyl, I much prefer the 6cyl. The 6 provides lots of power and a nice hwy ride. If I find a low mileage Corsica, I'm going to get #3. It's not luxury, just a plain and simple good used car.
my poor poor cor...sica
Bought as program car in 1996, never had problems until last winter. I let the catalyt convertor go bad-in turn causing major engine failure. Wish I would have taking better care of my poor, poor, cor...sica.
Can't replace headlights
This car is so old now you can't replace the riding lights. But yes you have regular and highbeams. This car is big and nice and solid bought for $1500 with 60k mi and now has 118k mi but we put in over $2000 worth of work in it. No ABS brakes. This car is okay if you ignore those things. I predict this car works for 18 - 20 years
1995 Chevy Corsica
I bought this car used, and I have not had many problems at all. Alot of people told me that Corsicas tend to stop working after they reach 100,000 miles, but mine seems to be doing just fine. I bought it with a little over 50,000 miles on it and the only problems I have had is sometime it tends to flood inside when it rains really hard. Other than that it is a good affordable dependable car. Another thing it did that I wasn't sure about is I have gone through 2 alternators in less than a year, but maybe that is my fault, I am not the nicest on my car. Good car.
My little corsica
Well...I got my corsica a yr ago this august. since then the passenger door has stopped opening from the outside and I had to have the catalytic converter changed and transmission work done. Usually its reliable though the a/c is ice cold. I wish it accelerated better but its pretty durable. I wanted a civic but had to settle for the corsica. I'll be sad to see it go now, but it will one day, not too lovable at first but it grows on you! :) I love her
