Bought it new, and I'm amazed at the craftsmanship and overall quietness of the car. Doors and panels have a solid feel to them, They are well-designed, totally unexpected. Mileage is on par with my previously owned Corolla, even though the Cobalt has a bigger engine and more power options. I'm very pleased.

A world-class small car from GM

My Cobalt is light years better than the Saturn ION it replaced. Interior material quality and fit and finish is up there with the best from Japan, and performance is like that of a European car. It's the best of all worlds.

Happy with the car

We bought this car with 27,000 miles on it and now it has 90,000+. The car has been great for us, as we have had absolutely no problems. It is a lot more fun to drive than the other economy cars. Ours is fairly loaded with the bigger tires and alloy wheels, and the spoiler. We still get compliments on the appearance of the car. Our city MPG averages about 24, and we get about 30 in the highway.

This is a great step up from the Cavalier, I owned a 1999 and a 2001- I like them but this is really a much better car. Feels solid, rides well even over our bad roads. Very comfortable seating. Probably the best car I've owned considering my low end price range.
