Break down 2021 Chevrolet Blazer RS after 2 days

Purchases new 2021 Blazer two days later we were left stranded. Diagnosis the converter failed causing the line pressure to drop from 120 psi to 30 psi after 3 min in addition to large metal pieces were found in the fluid. After two days our new 2021 blazer was towed to a Chevrolet mechanic because the transmitter had to be replaced. To say the least this what le experience was a nightmare that lasted over 3 months due to the lack of professionalism, communication between the dealership, mechanic, and particularly Chevrolet Corporate Office. We found them to be very uncooperative, uncaring, helpful, professional or compassionate to our situation refusing to do a “buy back” or refund us for all of our out of pocket expenses causing us to be $7,000 upside down on the purchase price when we traded it in for a Toyota. The dealerships are all independent and do not work together nor does the corporate office take any responsibility for any Chevrolet dealership. I honestly hope no one goes through what we have been through.

Bold styling, smart amenities, performance rated, and a plush well thought out interior. Because of all the bells & whistles we opted for the GM extended warranty plan (Platinum plan that offers us an additional 3Years bumper to bumper coverage). We were surprised that this GM plan is available online for for $1,000 less than what the dealership offered us, they even confirmed it was the same plan.

Surprisingly fun to drive. I’ve been a loyal Lexus customer for years, but do not like any of their SUVs or crossovers. The Blazer doesn’t disappoint. Update: have had this car for nearly three years now and haven’t had any issues with it. So the reliability seems to be there too!

Snappy and agile

This is a very comfortable SUV. It's quick and maneuvers well. Ours has the Enhanced Convenience Package and the Driver Confidence II Package with adds tons of creature comforts like Bose speakers, heated and ventilated seats and 360 HD surround viewing. The RS comes standard with the 3.6 engine which is a must in my opinion. It has plenty of cargo space and if needed the back seats folds down flush to more than double the available cargo space (the rear seat cushion actually lowers to accommodate the flush cargo area). One thing we immediately bought was WeatherTech floor and cargo mats. The included floor mats are lame. A nice little touch is the illuminated bow tie rear hands free liftgate. It took a little practice to get it to work every time. Edmunds says the rear seating headroom is lacking, but I didn't find that true. I'm 6'1" and have no headroom or legroom issues when seating in the rear with the front seat set for me. The back seats also recline if you desire. The engine auto-stop drives me crazy in my Silverado, but luckily the Blazer is not as quick to shut down the engine and actually only rarely stops it. I'm not a fan of auto stop and would permanently disable it if I could. Wireless ApplePlay is nice and the wireless charging is handy. We're very happy with the Blazer and like the Rally Sport touches.

I like this Blazer a lot, it is comfortable, handles well, and has great acceleration (easy on the accelerator or you'll spin the front tires!). I added the Convenience package and changed the badges to black (instead of gold). It looks great and reasonably priced, get one!
