after driving a car for many years, and started looking for a truck. after tryng dfferent styles and models, i got to the avalanche. i was pleasntly suprised how comfortable a truck could be. the side storage is very nice too. ienjoy te optionof a truck or a car. the ride is very smooth.

this truck has won MVP during our recent move. the versatility is great. just like the review says, amenities and feel of a suburban with the utility of the silverado. i can haul family around or lumber. the amenities are great, comes with dual- zone climate control, GREAT bose stereo with in-dash 6 disc changer. (stereo includes subwoofer). i don't know what people are talking about "cheap interior feel"... it feels luxurious to me. a hefty curb weight makes for sluggish performance though, and gas mileage is abysmal. the onboard computer is more amazing than in my previous BMW.

I love my Avalanche!! I almost bought a Dodge RAM with a Hemi.........I drove them both and by far the Avalanche is superior.........There is no comparison of the ride offered by both vehicles.....The Avalanche BY FAR beats its competition in the smoothness of the ride..........Almost has the same big car ride of the Mercury Grand Marquis.......The engine has great accelleration and performance........Mine is without the body hardware.......one of the best improvements to the looks of the Avalanche that Chevrolet has made!! I just LOVE it!!

This truck is rock solid and dependible. a sleek look aaalso helps. Prompts to chevy for a awsome vechile. Better than ford Dodge and toyota combined.

I have to fight with my wife about who is going to drive. This is a great vehicle; it handles beautifully and has tons of power. The 2500 is built like a tank (8600 lbs) and ready to handle any task.

Nice truck. I love the capability of offroading. I went through 24" of snow and didnt get stuck. But the EPA estimated fuel mileage not even close truck gets about 8mpg city 12-15mpg EPA estimates are crap and it seems the more gas prices go up the worse the fuel mileage gets, and its hard on the wallet. Chevy makes great truck but would get better mileage if they put manual available in the Avalanche and offered a diesel, or just added a 5th gear to the automatic.

I HAVE TRADED TRUCKS EVERY EWO YEARS FO THE PAST 16 YEARS. ONLY CHEVY'S DURING THIS TIME. THIS IS THE 2ND Z66 I HAVE OWNED. THE BOSE SYSTEM ALONG WITH ALL THE COMFORT IS OUTSTANDING!
