Car styling is great and quite a looker. STS commercials suggest you are getting something you are not: This car does not handle as well as deVilles, etc. It drinks oil like it is gas, yet the dealer says it is within specs: 1 qt per 1000 mi. Too many rattles, the driver's door has now developed the typical GM rattle and shake No more domestics for me, back to BMW and VOLVO (my 18 year old BMW drinks no oil and runs great at 200K miles.

This is a great car. Definitely stands out amoung the zillions of BMW 5's and MB E-classes around here, which are as common as Taxis in NYC. Great performance, cool features. The automated stuff like lights, radio volume, door locking, etc actually works when you want it to. Excellent cruiser. Had a few minor "typical GM" problems, but nothing significant

The Seville is beautiful, but that’s on the outside! Under the hood becomes bitter or sweet. It fly’s, and very smooth when running right! But, if it’s not, the Dealership is without a too expensive! No one in independent shops want to take it on due to labor charges. GM should’ve taken a script from Lexus, rear wheel drive, fit and finish. My 1998 Seville STS has very low miles so I haven’t had the nightmares that I’ve read about…yet!

I have only owned sports cars, '95 Camaro Z28, '92 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4, '04 MINI Cooper S. So for me to change to a luxury vehicle was a bit of a step. But this vehicle surprised me with its acceleration. I was hooked after the first drive. Comfort is great! It is hard to find a car that performs decently, and is comfortable. It doesn't handle very well, but I didn't buy it for that. I can't see myself with out a Caddilac & MINI. One for road trips, the other for beatin' up the streets!

Handles great, hugs curves excellently, great pickup power & steady smooth highway driving. Looks brand new, shines like a mirror and the inside is inpeckable. Only has 27, 800 miles. Last year's mileage was 4,200!
