Used 1993 Cadillac DeVille Consumer Reviews
Old School Style
I found this car with less than 40K miles. It's old school style,a true cruiser. The V-8 power is great. Brakes and handling - NOT. A very comfortable and safe ride w/ style. If you can get one with under 80K miles it's a steal. Just realize it's a classic 1993 Cadillac.
Great car
Second owner. Had 16,000 miles when bought. Has driven beautifully. Very few problems and a comfort to drive long distances. Usually noticed as Wow! One of a kind for years on it. Saw it on the lot and was love at first sight, still is.

Excellant Car
I bought this car three years ago with 169,000 miles. I was impressed that it was so quiet and felt very tight. It has no squeaks or rattles. I now have 219,000 miles and it's still tight. I have done minimum maintenance, just tires, brakes, and a new set of plugs. The interior is very comfortable with it's living room type leather seats. The sound system is great. I recently updated with a CD player. The speakers still sound wonderful. I have always changed the oil every 3,000 miles or if I use synthetic every 6,000 - 7,000 miles. This Caddy is even good in the snow with it's front wheel drive. I hope to get to 300,000 miles out of it and I believe I will.
Smooth Cruisin'
My 1993 Cadillac DeVille is a good car. I love it, the ride quality makes you feel like you are floating. It is the most comfortable car I've been in, but that goes for all DeVilles. It is solid (if you tap something it rarely even dents), she's a heavy car. The car still has plenty of power, only 200hp but a lot of torque, and a big V8. I have had to put $800 of work into it mechanically, but she's never died on me. I've had problems with the water pump, fuel pump, and a couple of things that a tune up could handle, but the even with those problems my DeVille has never let me down.
Just the truth....
I bought this car with 114,500 miles and now has 132,000. I have had absolutely no problems of any kind, and it is still as tight as a brand new car. My gas mileage is 16.8 in town (avg.), and 24.7 on freeway (avg.) I have done as much as 31.2 mpg on a freeway trip from Portland OR to Eugene OR with the cruise control set the whole 128 miles at 55 mph. With proper care and maintainence, I fully expect to surpass the 292,000 miles I put on my 1979 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, and would not be surprised if I make it to 350,000-400,000. It is my opinion that these 93 coupes are way undervalued, as there were only 4,127 of the 2 door models made, and they are such excellent, safe, reliable, and powerfull car's.
