Luxury and Sport Combined

My All Wheel drive Premium Luxury CT4 surprised me by how well it handles on the road, both straight way and especially curves. In a 6 inch snow this past week, I actually felt safer the way it hugged the road and handled than my 4 wheel drive truck.Safety features galore.Even though there is not much room in back for passengers, by moving the front seats up.some provided enough leg room. The 4 cylinder is surprisingly spiffy and also gets over 30 mpg on the road.

Highly Disappointed

Cal, 02/16/2023
2022 Cadillac CT4 Sport 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 8A)

I worked hard to purchase my brand new 2022 CT4 with every bell and whistle right off of the showroom floor. It was an achievement and dream come true. Its turned into a nightmare. Thank God for warranties because this thing has been in the shop every other month. One thing after another. From a faulty mass airflow sensor, to crank shaft problems, fuel tank problems, etc. All of these issues have effected my gas mileage to the point coworkers driving diesel pickup trucks are getting better fuel efficiency on the highway. I wanted a cadillac so bad. I just had to have it and chose it over BMW, Audi, and Mercedes. Outside of my cadillac LOOKING beautiful inside and out, its been a turd. I got about 90 days of performance out of it. I wish I had a good review of this car. My experience with my very first cadillac that I worked very hard for, has been highly disappointing.

I’ve only had my car for 11,000 miles and while it drives like a dream when it’s not broken it’s already had multiple issues with the fuel pressure sensor, codes for power steering, and now replacement of a valve.

CT4 to go go go, 12/31/2020

I have a CT4 Luxury. Before this car I had a 2014 CTS Coupe (3.6L) which I also bought new. While this car is a little smaller, it is so much to drive. It really feels like a sports car. I don't bother with surveys, in this case it was worth my time. I first drove a CT5, I prefer the CT4. My only negative comment it my own fault. My last Cad had the BOSE system. I miss that, the Premium Sound is OK, but it is noticeably not Bose.

Fun on four wheels

I was an early adopter on the ATS. 2013, 15 and 17 versions. They were all great drives. Just traded for a 20 Sport finish. Nicer interior, but it does feel like a smaller car. I preferred the 2.0 L in the ATS than the CT4. I do notice a loss of power in acceleration. The motor sounds louder, almost as if it's laboring to respond. Reminds me of my 1990 Chev Cavalier. A little disappointing. Likewise - why does Cadillac always "cheap out?". The ATS all had Bose stereos; not it's an option. Other options which should included - it's a Cadillac, and my wife's Chev Equinox has features my CT4 doesn't. All said, it is fun to drive, spry and agile on city streets and the highway, and I can get golf clubs in the trunk. I'll love it in spite of it all.

The car rides very well with good handling and a very responsive to the gas peddle I drove to the dealership one day which is a sixty mile round trip. I got 42 mpg driving at 70 mph on a streight and level highway. That a lot more than I expected.

My family and I have driven Cadillacs for over 65 years or since 1959. We have owned most models of Cadillacs throughout the years. As my wife and I recently retired and sold our ranch style home for a condo we decided to trade our 2018 XT5 Luxury for something more fuel efficient and economical. We researched the CT4 and CT5 and decided to purchase the 2023 Premium Luxury CT4. We have owned our car for 7 months. After owning a XT5 for 5 years our new CT4 took a little getting used to however we were pleasantly surprised with the styling, speed and overall performance of our vehicle. Although many of reviews have played up the lack of leg room in the rear and etc., the styling and fuel economy makes up for this. This car is fast and is head turning. In addition, we save so much $$ at the fuel pump. Even though the car has a slower take off at the light than other cars, it is a formidable surprise on the open road. We have the AWD that is just perfect in the Midwest because of inclement weather. So although it doesn't have all the old stately status as the older models have, that is just fine because it is still a head turner and has all the latest technology and modern conveniences. We would highly recommend it to customers that have been with Cadillac for a while to further discover this new fantastic vehicle. In addition, this vehicle is perfect for the younger drivers that want Luxury, safety, style and won't break the bank! This car is the best and you don't need to search overseas to find a gem right here in the USA. Go CADILLAC!!!! In addition, We have owned Cadillacs for many years. Although my CT4 Premium Luxury is quite different from either my XT5, SLS, or Concours, this midsized vehicle is amazing. It is smaller yet perfect for my family. The fuel economy is fantastic. It is fast when I need it. New styling is amazing. The price is right. Fantastic job Cadillac. We would purchase it again. Wow, what a fantastic Luxury Sport car!!

I just purchased this car used. It had only 4500 miles on it. First day put 150 miles on it and enjoyed every minute. The V has so many driving modes that engage the driver and make driving.. FUN! The engine power is fantastic the ride, contrary to what Edmunds say is quite nice. The steering is exceptional with excellent road feel. The suspension is also quite fine. I averaged 30.2 MPG which was better than my 2019 XT4. I don't really care about rear seat room due to the fact I am single. If I do have passengers back there they will be my 5 year grandkids so all is well. Overall and initially I am very happy with this vehicle, it's appearance performance safety features and the fun to drive aspect. Watch some YouTube car reviews and almost every reviewer is smiling and/or laughing every time they accelerate and then they marvel at how well the ct4-v responds

When I first picked up my CT4-V in December of 2020 I was so excited but after a year of ownership I’m looking for a way out of this piece of junk. The best thing about the car is the exterior appearance. After that you’ll find nothing but squeaks, rattles, weird software bugs, and missing details. There are 2 USB ports in the whole car and they’re both in front. In a 2020 Cadillac. 2 ports. 0 in the back seat. What were they thinking. The push button to unlock the door handles “feature” that nearly every other automaker has ditched in favor of touch to unlock door handles frequently glitches and requires multiple button pushes to unlock. No fix has been found for this yet. The car lights up every time the key moves anywhere near the vehicle so if you park this in an attached garage and keep a key in your purse be prepared to have a dead battery every 2-3 days. The car is SUPER prone to tire blowouts and cracked rims which would be annoying in any circumstance but with supply issues as they are combined with the fact that you don’t get a spare tire means you’ll be renting a LOT of cars while you wait for replacement rims and tires. I was in a fender bender with my vehicle over the last year and since this car is aluminum and Cadillac has certified very few shops to repair these expect to wait a LONG time to get your car fixed. In my case I was driving a smashed car for about 3 months. I replaced my Alfa Romeo Giulia with this vehicle and even though the Alfa was a few years older the CT4 is light years behind the Alfa in every way.

Having been a “truck” guy my entire life I thought it was time to try a sport sedan and boy was I thanful I did. By giving up interior space, in return I got an exciting & responsive drive. Being only 4 cylinders I wasn’t expecting a lot and I was gladly wrong. The turbo supercharger is huge and really makes up for lack of cylinders. I use ut mostly for long drives around the country to state capitols. Having a bad back the seats are extremely comfortable. If i had to pic a downfall it woukd be a sparce interior extras and small for passangers in the back seat. Down sides outweighed by the positives. Its a beast on the open roads with quick excelleration and crispy handling. I cant wait to turn this one in for the V version. If this ones this exciting to drive with the flappy paddle 8 gears, I can only imagine how great 2 turbos will be. I simply love this car.

The sleeper of the DECADE

2020 Fully loaded 2.7L dual volute turbocharged 10-speed I4 Looks: Personally would’ve loved bigger rims standard otherwise the car looks menacing specially at night. Performance: 2.7L Turbocharged engine paired with the 10-speed automatic is a match made in heaven. It may lack few cylinders and the intimidating horsepower numbers, but considering the weight and the 500NM of torque, (THIS THING MOVES) gaps the (MK7 Golf R, 2022 CLA35/A35, m235i gran coupe, S3, challenger/charger RT, 370Z with cold air intake and tune…) so don’t let the sleeper look fool you even though i love the bamboozled faces i get when i race one of those :) I would’ve loved a louder exhaust. The car is considerably quiet but the turbo sound is really loud and fun. Technology: considering it’s fully loaded I would’ve loved more but it has enough tech. I’m hard to please but overall i love the car so far

The 2.7L 4 cyl Turbo option is well worth the money. It's quicker than my old '06 DTS 4.1L V8. In 6 months I have only put a 1000 miles on it. If only it rode as comfortable as my DTS. Only 2 problems so far. 1. The right front turn indicator lamp is out. 2. When I close the trunk the horn blows & it unlocks the doors. This happens about once in 5 to once in 10 times I close the trunk. Otherwise I like the car.

I love driving this car . yep ...not much space in back seat ...that;s the only legitimate gripe I have read for this car , The other complaints are total flabber babble to me. GThis car is responsive and holds the road beautifully. You can go buy a woke Euro "sports" car. I'll stick with this American Caddy.

Car does look awesome and sporty lines blacked out headlights and clear black taillights with the sport trim but other than that the Interior falls short of exciting from the plane look but it does have massage seats/ heated and cooled seats are very convenient feature. The car looks very sporty but isn’t a sports sedan by far you will have to upgrade to one of the V models for that passing power overall it’s a great car for someone that wants the looks of a Luxery sports sedan.

Traded in a Grand Cherokee for the CT4, so this is a major change for me. Fit and finish are excellent, seats are very comfortable, the Bose stereo is fine, good power, exceptional ride and handling. The back seat is a bit tight, but fine for occasional use. All of the tech is superb. The only true negatives are some pronounced turbo lag at times, and it’s a little difficult to get in and out of. I’m 6’1, and I have to contort my legs to get around the steering wheel. This likely would be a non-issue for anyone under 6 feet. Overall, I’m very pleased with the car. If you want luxury and performance, and also want an American car, there’s really no other choice aside from Cadillac.

Ok so its important to note i traded in a 2018 XTS that i absolutely loved, I've had a corvette on order for 14 months with a TPW 2nd week Dec. I'm not getting younger, I've got issues with shrapnel from 3 battle tours.. makes it hard to get in and out of most cars, I sold my 2019 Mercedes SL450 because of this... but I had to have a mid engine American made performance car, but so I had originally planned on getting a 5 series blackwing and flipping the corvette, then I thought I'd look at a 4 series blackwing and keep the corvette and im so glad I did, while this blackwing gets alot less MPG than my XTS... it doesn't ride as good as the XTS, but I'm betting its alot better than a corvette and its got four doors. I only have 250 miles on it so just like the corvette im NOT able to use 100% of the HP until I put 600 miles on it, I will say im glad I went with the baby blackwing and the corvette, even though that 668 HP 5 series sounds intriguing. Mm ill have the vette when I have the need, the need for speed

Great looking car, nicely equipped. Comfort and ride great, styling terrific. Has plenty of safety features. Finally got a phone to test the wireless charging. As soon as the phone is put on the charger, works like a charm. Still enjoy and having fun driving this car.

Great mid size sport sedan. Dimensions almost identical to my Mercedes C450 amg. More horsepower, just as cool and supportive seats. Better ride and just as nimble. Lots more extras and much easier to operate. Oh, and maintenance costs are sure to be lower!!

Very disappointed, my car has less than 2000 miles on it and already broken down and the service advertiser didn't know anything at all about Cadillac products when I asked about the car and really didn't care. It will be the last GM product I own.. NO MORE
