Wanted to like it
Roomy and comfortable 7 passenger SUV. (2018) took as a rental with <19,000 miles. Plenty of power, good interior materials and fit and finish, good looking car inside and out. Motor hesitated, uncertain if someone had fed it bad fuel or it’s an engine/transmission issue. “Cutesy” shifter adds a learning level that’s unnecessary, adds no value over traditional shifter. Navigation system was horrible, not intuitive at all and didn’t switch to the map after hitting “go” but left up radio buttons or other clutter. I really wanted to like the car, but the horrible nav/media system is a deal breaker.

2018 Enclave
The ride quality and quietness are as expected in this model. The center stack controls are very simple and easy to understand and visibility is great. The only thing that gives it away as a 4-5 year old model is the poor resolution of the backup camera. Overall the interior shows minimal signs of wear considering it's used which should bode well for long term durability. In spite of all the space there really isn't anywhere to stash items in the second row- just cupholders. Only the passenger side has the tilt and slide second row which means people getting out of the third row need to exit from that side unless they are going to pass through the captain's chairs to get out. I do not like the sunshade covers which are thin and automatically open if you unlatch them. Also there is no ambient lighting at night which is surprising for the top trim.

Great Vehicle
2 Nice
This is our 3rd Enclave and I thought my 2014 Premium was the best but The Avenir with the safety features and the upgraded suspension are keeper', the only drawback is not having a CD player
Was great until it wasn't
I am the original owner of a 2018 Enclave Premium AWD. Vehicle came fully loaded, love the space, cargo is great, technology and overall ride. It's had its quirks since day one that never threw codes and the dealership could not replicate. After reversing, once in drive the car would randomly act like it was going to die before finally engaging. After driving long distances, shifting would stick and we'd have to put the car in park and back into drive to reengage. At 100k miles, I had to replace the air conditioner, which is a costly repair. It now has an engine sputter when accelerating and I have been told it needs a new transmission. So, needless to say, great to about 80k miles. After that, it seems to be falling apart.

Lousy settings selections.
Avenir technology choices very poor. The manual isn't clear when trying to make selections and settings for the instrument cluster and controls Very limited selections, too. Can't disable Auto start/stop. Adaptive cruise radar system works pretty good but stopping distance is too close to vehicle in front. Not at all happy with the limited selections in settings. Chrysler is so far better than GM in this regard.

WHAT CONTROL KNOB?
This car and all the Buick's that I'm aware of, don't have a control knob on the console. Such a control knob would control the screen. With the up/down control would control the icons on the screen and a center push-button would select an icon. Without a console control knob all screen selections would need to be accomplished reaching the touch screen.
