Love my Buick Enclave, 01/20/2024

Traded my ‘07 Honda Odyssey in for the new 2016 Enclave Premium Tuscan Edition and 8 years later it continues to be a fantastic SUV. Love: the look, design, styling, feel, ride, engine quality, AWD handling in snow, sound system, safety features, solidity (feels solid, heavy and safe on the roads), lane departure warning, auto-dimming rear view mirror, capacity (TONS of cargo space for all five of us), versatility, how smooth and quiet it rides, heated seats in winter and cooling seats in summer, privacy glass, and much more. The only major issues I’ve experienced are with the driver’s seat. The “up” power seat setting has stopped working which stinks for us short drivers, the seat has come apart underneath and Buick did a crappy attempt at fixing it so I’m just living with it as it doesn’t affect my safety, the AC has needed fixing twice, the battery died at five years, but no major engine problems at 80K+ miles. It is wieldy to park and I usually have to adjust my parking every time (feels like a boat), but overall it has been reliable, safe, ten times better than my minivan, and enjoyable. I don’t want to trade it in or let my teens drive it because it’s so comfy to me and I don’t want them wrecking it. I will keep this car until it falls apart or becomes too expensive to repair. So far so good! Their resale value should be MUCH higher than what I’m seeing currently (in 2024).
