What do I get after the Pandemic

Change my 2019 X5 with every package and very reliable for a 2023 X5 equally loaded. My new car is 2 1/2 months old, and 1300 miles. Is been at the dealer for repair twice. In both cases a parasitic system is draining the battery overnight. Today the car was totally dead. This will be my first Lemon… can we blame the lack of parts and qualify worker for the worse car I ever have. Also dealer and customer service has going down. I will think about getting another BMW after this experience

Favorite Car I've ever owned

I drive around town mostly. So far, of my 15,000 miles, 12,000 are electric. BMW has appointed its vehicle well, and it's a comfortable ride that's also a lot of fun.

Just stepped up from and X5 3.0D to a 45e

Maybe a bit early for a review. I have just done 600K in the e. Very response in electric and I am getting 60+ Kms electric. Barely used petrol so far but when i booted it to pass at truck it was immediately responsive and quickly did the job. I really liked my 3.0D but this one is another level. It seems a lot bigger maybe wider. and very comfortable. It has the Pirelli low profile tyres and they are yet to be tested on the open road but generally handling remains excellent. Finish throughout the car is top notch. Very good heads up display, very clear maps, heated seats and heated steering wheel. Hardly notice the small boot space loss. Very happy with the car so far.

Have had the X5 x40i for a month, and could be too soon to say but I have been extremely happy with it! The drive is fantastic, it’s never short on power, always in the right gear and beats corners likes nobody’s business. The standard non M sport brakes are adequate. Although a pretty wide and big SUV, it doesn’t drive like one, maneuvering around tight town roads isn’t difficult at all. I find the standard sensafin seats very comfortable. There are plenty of options and customizations that can be done through the intuitive infotainment system that could drive you insane, but if you spend sometime to configure everything to your liking it’s a breeze to use thereafter. No complaints in the driving experience, although a few gripes. Not to sound like a broken record, but you have to pay for every option, like upgraded sound system, leather seats, parking assistance package etc. Ventilated seats are not offered with the standard sensafin seats, although that’s been fixed for 2024 model is what I understand. I like the upgraded Harman Kardon stereo system, but I’d expect better at this price point. Overall it has been a very satisfying experience and all the pros outweigh the minor gripes.
