All good here
I actually average over 30 MPG. It's smooth and quiet. Have over 9000 miles now and other than an oil change, there have been no issues. The tech is a bit confusing and could certainly be more intuitive in terms of sound, Sirius and using all of the apps. All in all, I'd buy again Update- have over 30,000 miles on the car now. Getting about 32 mpg. Love the ride, comfort and quiet interior. Negatives; I’ve had to reboot the electronics from time to time as the radio gets locked up. Only takes a minute but is odd. 2) when I put it in park and take my foot off the brake, the car rocks a little which makes me wonder if it’s going to move. It doesn’t but feels weird. 3) occasionally the wipers come on for a swipe Or two when there’s no rain. All in all, I would buy again Update

Love it!!
The X1 is the best car I have ever owned, and I'm 75. I've owned Audi A6s, A5, and A4, BMW 3 series and 4 series gran Coupe, Acura TSXs, TLX and Integra. All of these have been great cars as have over a dozen Hondas. The X1 is better. It is the quickest and best handling. The steering, brakes and lights are great. I was one of the last of the now extinct sedan owners, and I have trouble getting a grip on how an SUV could perform better than the above mentioned vehicles. Other likes include: cosseting seats, fabulous cameras and automated backing, adaptive cruise and stop and go/traffic jam assist, ease of entry/exit, interior cabin design. Oh, gas mileage has been great far exceeding EPA estimates. of course there are niggles/ annoyances - gas and temperature gauges are almost invisible and poorly designed as are the speedo and RPMs gauges. Electronics are as equally frustrating and unintuitive as all the above mentioned vehicles. Reliability has been flawless after 3 months (stay tuned).

Not perfect, but I love it
This 2025 BMW X1 is fun to drive and good looking. I average around 30 miles per gallon over all and do about 50/50 hgwy vs city. Lots of pep, smooth and quiet. Well built, have about 8,000 miles and so good so far. Electronics take a while to get used to and I have to reboot my radio very few weeks as it loses the SXM signal. I'm 6'1" and have plenty of room. Seat adjustments make it comfortable for road trips.

Great Car
Great car for commuting, around town and short trips. Fun to drive and technology was surprisingly easy to learn. Third BMW and exceptionally happy with car.
