Every important note flawlessly reached
Comfort: check. Looks: check. (Don't let Edmund's and many other front grill phobia turn you. It looks good and compliments the car) Performance - Look out! Place it in sport mode and put the top down and be ready for some 6 cyl burbling and turbo whine. It may not have the M4's stats but the M440i has power. Enough to beat a Mustang GT from a traffic light easily. Peak torque at 1800RPM wins that race. I know, I own both. Tech - Amazing. But can get a bit overwhelming. Comfort - A masterpiece. Economy - 26MPG combined? Unreal for this level of performance. After owning 3 335i's, an M3, 2 Corvettes, A Lexus IS-F, and even a 650i, the M440i is the culmination of getting everything right. It all comes together like the perfection of an orchestra. Not the top in everything but it does everything extremely well.

The Perfect Sports Car
As a 6'6 male I have owned a number of sports cars throughout the years and this one, hands down, is the best one that I have ever owned. It is comfortable, stylish, fun, and always has the power you need to accelerate and go as fast you want. I refer to the speed of the vehicle as one of its best safety features when used right. Incredibly it is also fuel efficient. Quite simply, my wife and I love this car. In fact, my wife often wants to just go for a drive. She hasn't wanted to do that for decades. Love how quiet the convertible is when the top is up and that the wind deflector comes with the car. The latter is a small item, but for BMW it is pretty incredible as they seem to want to charge you extra for everything. My car has just about every option, and I love them all though I'm still figuring out all the car's features. Apple Carplay is adequate, not great, though that has been my experience on most cars. The adaptive cruise control/steering is pretty incredible on the highway and makes for easy driving. The only strike for me right now would be the staggered tires and how fast they wear (comes with the territory) and trunk size. I can fit a bag of clubs if I take out the woods, but fitting two is tricky. Lastly, it is pretty amazing how many people love seeing this car on the road. It both looks and sounds great. Frankly, for me and my height, this could be the best convertible sports car out there period. I don't know that I would trade it for any other sports car right now. You might say the 8 series is better, but it has a half inch less legroom, which is surprisingly much more significant than you would ever think. Strangely the M4 also has less legroom. Hopefully my 440xi proves to be reliable as I would love to keep it a long time.

Better than the you would think.
This one is a keeper. First impression is smooth quiet and raciness when you need it. The drivers cockpit it comfortable with all the tech you can ask for at your fingertips or through voice command “Hey BMW”. The car looks great and in my opinion the grill gives a new positive twist to the BMW image. I have owned a 2020 M4 Competition and sold it early due to the stiff uncomfortable ride. Not a good daily commute, and can only use a small fraction of the power output on local streets. If your looking for a good looking BMW with great acceleration that can become a smooth daily commute, then consider the new 430i series.

Beautiful Bimmer
My third BMW convertible. This 430I is a significant upgrade over my 335I. The 430 is a larger, more substantial car. Drives like a luxury convertible but is still sporty. Was a little concerned about getting the 4cyl but it has plenty of power. Packed with technology that is intuitive and not intimidating. If ride and comfort are more important than getting to 0-60 in 4 seconds this car should be on your list.

Horrible cheap car. Lot of issues
Terrible car with lof of issues. Don’t buy. It will drain your bank account.
The Aggressor
This car is a head turner. Not only the aesthetic but the technology in this car is bar-none. It has the speed, agility, and safety features to come along with. I fell in love with BMW after my SUV. I decided to get the coupe this time. Best of both worlds!

Love this car!!!
This car is sexy AF, super comfortable, a head turner, plenty of power yet still gets amazing mpg. I can get 36-40 mpg driving 75-80 on the highway in eco mode. Only complaint is infotainment can be difficult at times. Like when my spouse (secondary driver) rides with me, it often connects to his phone even though I’m setup at the primary driver, with the main key programmed to MyID. Otherwise zero complaints.

M440i x drive coupe is a beast!
Top notch fit and finish. Tech is smooth and intuitive vs our Porsche Cayenne which is cumbersome at best. Love the heads-up display. Power comes on early and is so strong while the engine and exhaust sound is amazing! Get the adaptive suspension option for $550 with the adaptive dampers the ride is sporty but never rough and changes with the comfort/sport settings as well as the road by taking data from the nav system. Very cool.

430i xDrive Convertible is a fun, fast car!
I am very pleased with my new 430i convertible. It's a great looking car that's fun to drive. And, it has plenty of pick-up, both from a start and while accelerating while moving. This car is a head turner!
24 M440i Gran Coupe
Love my purchase of the vehicle, the M440i gran coupe is very nice in comparison to Japanese imports. The handling is firm and robust, interior is modern and slick looking, the exterior is sharp and aggressive, and the fuel millage is good so both on highway and city. The only thing I wish for BMW is to unblock the screen mirroring in CarPlay so the large display can be used to watch Netflix or YouTube when the car is on park.

Love the styling
Your review says no one likes the large grill. If you believe that way you have your head in the past. I hate the old small style BMW grill. The M440 grill is new and cool looking. It has an edge to it, not like the old grill that’s been around forever. If it had the old small style grill I would bought the Audi S5 instead.

Retro Style Deletion of Touchscreen
The New 440 xdrive is fun to drive, but some cars get removed the center touchscreen display. Is BMW's inner trim back to 2000? I couldn't tell.

Love everything about this car
Have owned a 23 for 6 months now. For me the styling including the grille is beautiful. I do the like M4 competition hood better though. Fun to drive, powerful, great traction and yet comfortable. The tech is excellent but Alexa connection is a little buggy. Can’t wait to drop the top.

The car that’s “just right”
Went shopping for a M440ix Gran Coupe, but went with a similarly spec’d convertible. Has been an absolute joy to drive. Love the exquisite power, looks and ride of this sleek machine. My 94yo mother loves this car, particularly whilst enjoying listening to 40s music on the XM radio or riding with the top down. All stock with the exception of replacing the OEM black cast aluminum wheels with forged Apex VS-5RS chrome wheels. This car is a fabulous choice for those with grown children and a garage.

My first foreign sports coupe!
The performance is great. I am actually averaging 29mpg in mixed driving. The xdrive is a no brainer. The interior is well designed and the technology is impressive. After owning eight Mustangs this car gets it right. European car makers are more fuel conscience without sacrificing performance. I’m sold!

‘24 Convertible squeaks and rattles
The car looked great, impressive fuel economy from a zippy 4 banger in the 430i, but after a few months the convertible top developed an awful squeak that was seemingly right behind my driver side head area that made top up driving miserable. Unacceptable for a $65k car. I found tons of BMW convertible owners with similar issues. The dealer was unable to diagnose the cause of the squeaking after 2 visits. So I cut a $15k loss on a brand new vehicle and bought a reliable Honda.

Front Grill, You Must Be Joking !!!!
I've owned a lot of different sports cars, Several Porsches, Several Ferrari's, Lots of Corvettes, My Little Wife has been driving a 2020 Jeep Gladiator and she loved it... I wanted to buy a smaller convertible for her, a very nice smaller convertible, started out looking to Mercedes, then I found the 430I, I absolutely loved the front Grill, it hit me like a ton...I still go to the Garage and look at the car, I still love the Grill....I have to admit I think I Love the car more than she does, I think she really Loves it, now it is a bit smaller than what she's use to, but I watched her pulling in to the driveway today with a big grin on her face with the top down, watched her put the top up still grinning... Beautiful Little Convertible, I Love The Car!!!!!!!
