I"m one of those guys. You know, the type that's incredibly picky about his cars and finds a few things that could be done better in every car he's owned. I've had a lot of great cars over the years but this is the BEST. I really can't think of anything I would change. It drives great, is incredibly comfortable, looks amazing, has great options and features, plenty of power, incredible handling and it's just flat out FUN. This is the first review i've ever given that hasn't been hyper critical.

Bought this car about a year ago. It is the first and only BMW I've ever owned. It is my favorite car of all that I've owned. With the top down on a sunny day, zinging through the twists and turns of an undulating country road, this car is a ton of fun. My first thought on a beautiful day when I am free from obligations is "...Go for a drive..."! The 2.5 liter in-line six is smooth and responsive. With just 184 hp and similar number torque, it won't win a drag race with a Mustang, but it is surprisingly peppy. I'd estimate 0-60 comes in around 7 seconds, which is comparable to my 2011 Fusion Sport AWD (which has 263 hp). But the miles per gallon is much better. I'm seeing around 28-30 highway, and 21-23 city. This car also just looks great. It cannot be considered practical, seeing the owners' manual strongly suggests using premium gas, and it only carries four people (and their handbags) with just a modicum of back-seat comfort. But who ever buys a convertible with practicality as their first consideration? This is one fun, reliable, and pretty car. I can't recommend it highly enough to the right buyer. This one has definitely made me a BMW fan!

Pluses: Performance and handling are incredible;high quality build, great engineering Minuses: Sensors that monitor sensors in Emissions control system (difficult to diagnose); excessive brake dust on wheels, smallish back seat, speeding ticket expense (you cant help it), trunk CD changer skips over bumps

I bought CPO and have had it for over 3 years. I got the mystic blue with light gray interior. What a nice combo. Have not had one single problem with it. I was concerned about the cloth top but it has been surprisingly easy to maintain. I also burn regular gas to save money and it runs just fine. I think this model is more attractive than the new models.

Love the car, fun to drive, xenon headlights move when you do, rain sensors too cool. Service has been great, only problem was my transmission slipping at 5K miles, took it to dealer, was replaced in 2 days time. Trunk a little small when top down, but didn't buy car for the trunk space!

The 330CIC is not only fun to drive, it is also a sharp looking vehicle that turns heads. Excellent pick-up, highly recommend the 5-speed trans. Quality is flawless which is typical for German- built vehicles.

The BMW 330CiC is a wonderful car to drive and never fails to get looks from other drivers. It corners as if on rails but is very composed and comfortable for commutes. The Harmon Kardon sound system gives high-quality performances, even with the top down. A few minor issues with the car were corrected promptly by the dealership. I average 24 mpg in commute/city driving, which is better than I expected. I always look forward to driving it and can't help but smile as I do.

I have always driven Japanese sports cars and never wanted to experience the stiff German ride of BMW or Mercedes. My wife concinced me to get the 325ci convertible and I did ... I will never drive Japanese again. There is nothing like looking past the illuminated orange dash lights on a warm summer night with the top down. What a great car. It has been extremely reliable but most important fun to drive.

I have never owned a BMW before now. I can say that I find the experience to be incredible. The car has kick A-- attitude and it looks good too. I have only found 2 drawbacks so far. 1. The fuel economy isn't what I expected, but I should have known better and the back seats sit so upright that they lack comfort for even a 1 hour trip. All in all I would buy this car again and again and again. However, I reserve judgment on winter driving since I haven't experienced that yet. Lets see how the car handles the North East winters!

I bought this car with 40,000 miles on it. I like it a lot. It turns heads and make for a great conversation piece wherever I am. Handling is incredible. It seems to have a few small elec problems though. One day the car wouldn't let me out of it, windows, roof, doors, locked for about 10 min. Some days the car won't start when I turn key the 1st time, have to do it twice. All lights come on dash and you hear a noise from the engine but nothing but on second turn it cranks. My car requires me to add antifreeze every month, this seems odd also.

I purchased my convertible bimmer as a replacement for my old Mustang. I've read a lot of great reviews on the car and it's got the classy look I've been wanting. I went to the dealer and took a test drive and fell in love! I look forward to driving it all the time. I jump when someone needs to run up to the store. I don't mind the brake dust, though it is excessive. It gives me time to admire my ride. :-)

This is a lot car for money. I have had two other bmw I 635 an a 735. The improvement is easy to see. I currently have two mercedes as well,a sl an the large s-class. I had took a look at the jag xk-8, but it back seat was to small. I also looked at the new 320clk convertible by merecedes, but it wouldn't be avaiable until mid march or april. Also The merecedes didn't have the option of a hardtop like the bmw. An finally the reliability of the bmw was much better then the 2003/2004 merecedes.

Great looking with a ride like a true sports car. With the top down you feel like what heaven must be like. Sport package a must if you want to grab the road like no sedan you have ever driven before, except perhaps an M3. 18 inch wheels with low profile tires don't hurt either. Paint job is perfection. Alpine Stereo option awesome. Wish it had a true console storage area...my only complaint. Love, love, love this car!

Second BMW 330 ragtop owned. Delightful to drive but has two weaknesses. Underpowered even with the 225 HP six and engine sound is so flat you feel you are in a Yugo. Missing the muscular engine of previous 3 series. Has some body roll but is very tight for a convertible. Well built, few problems within first six months of ownership. Upgraded 18" wheels are beautiful and get compliments wherever I drive. Little wind noise at high speeds.

I'm reporting on a 2002 BMW 330ci convertible, that now has 20,000 miles on it. This car has made two round trips to Florida, and is about to embark on a 3rd. It is the finest car that I have ever owned, and the most fun to drive. I have experienced very few problems with the car, and Fields BMW in Northbrook, IL corrected all of those promptly. My next car will unquestionably be a BMW.

i bought the 330ci convertible (2003) on it's reputation for performance. i have a five speed manual-shifting couldn't be better-i can pass just about any other car.BUT THE SEAT IS THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE EXPERIENCE!! i did not get the sport package because my dealer said it would stiffen the ride but i understand those seats can be extended. i am petite-only 5/4 but find the window is so low i feal my sight line has a horizontal line through it and the seat is so short under my legs that i can never be comfortable. i am trading this in AT A HUGE LOSS-WHAT HAPPENED TO BMW VALUE?-FOR THE NEW SAB 9-3 2004 CONVERTIBLE.

Although we live on a fairly small island (Oahu) we use the car every day. We have owned the original 64 1/2 Mustang convertable, two MGBs, a couple of Volvos, a SAAB and finally, an Explorer. This is, by far, the best driving automobile we have ever owned. There is nothing to dislike. It is quick and responsive. It is also a very good looking vehicle..Unfortunately, it's not a car you would take to Home Depot to buy lumber and stuff like that.

This is my second BMW, after purchasing the 330Ci coupe last year. I traded the coupe in on the 330Ci convertible. This car feels like it's worth the $49,000 MSRP. I am a car enthusiast, but even I used to wonder what all the hoopla was about with BMWs... After living with the '04 coupe and now this convertible, I understand! They are truly fabulous automobiles! They are so fun to drive, yet so smooth and so luxurious all at once!

I purchased my car in July 2003. One of the first to buy the 2004 model. I got the new color Mystic Blue and pin striped it according to the beige interior. I've received many compliments on the color combination. I've dreamed about this car since I was a kid. Finally treated myself to one on my 60th. birthday. I LOVE IT. What a great driving experience it is. Power, close to the road (hugging) 5 speed manual shifts wonderfully. I only wish they had made the 325 with the 6 speed manual transmission. I've laid it up over the past winter in my garage (even covered it up) and can't wait to get it out and on the road again.

Really struggled having to turn in my leased '01 Saab 9-3 convertible. I tried Saab 9-3 aero (very nice improvements, but no sport mode so low torque compared to '01), and Audi (not a driver's car). I'm now a BMW convert. Just took delivery of my loaded '04 330CiC with SMG and it is incredibly responsive, looks fantastic inside and out, and very quick.

I fell in love with the look, performance, and premium features of this car. I've owned it for 2.5 years and it has been at the dealer for repairs about 12 times. No major problems but problems nonetheless that require constant repairs. Defective battery, leaking headlight washer system, broken trunk lock, rattling convertible top, squeeky window, the list goes on and on. I bought this car and babied it, planning to keep it forever. I'm not planning to dump it as I'm sure once the warranty is out I will be getting killed on repair bills. I'll never buy another BMW.

This is the third car that I have owned, but the first BMW that I have had the pleasure of owning. This car is amazing! I got the upgraded tires and wheels with the car, and they had the low profile tires on them. At the time I was worried about comfort level, and the ride not being smooth. However, I was pleasantly surprised, to find that it drove as if I had the stock wheels on it. I would absolutely recommend this car to anyone who loves to drive a fun, yet classy vehicle.

The 330Ci truly is a wonderful car. The Harman Kardon sounds like you are a concert hall. The car's performance is so wonderful it is hard to control it during the break-in period. The 330Ci is one of the most comfortable cars I have ever ridden in and there is very little noise from the outside. The 330Ci's backseat is less to be desired. Another great feature of this vehicle is the adaptive xenon headlamps, which turn towards where you are steering. The adaptive brake lights are great, they get brighter the harder you press them and are made up of LEDs. In conclusion the 330Ci is the ultimate driving machine.

Ordered a 2003 in Jan then changed my order to the 2004 model as soon as they were announced. Took a few extra months (did euro delivery) but I am so glad I did. (1) got the new mystic blue and (2) got the 6 speed manual. The 3.0 litre engine is as sweet a 6 cyl as you'll ever find. If you are in the market for a convertible, drive this one last (then you will be right there at the dealership when you place your order!)

I just retired for the service after 27 years and I purchased the 2004 325CI right before returning to the United States and this was by far my favorite car and I could not have purchase a better car for my money and retirement. I drove it in Italy and Germany and you know the speed limit over there is not really a problem. SO, I put the petal to the metal and I was in love. This is a wonderful and sporty car. I was surprise that the back seat was confortable since I really did not care for the back seat. I don't plan on having anyone seating in the back seat anyway :). But it's was more confortable than the Z4.

I really love my car. I keep the top down even in the chicago winter! If it's above 20 degs., the windscreen and the seat heaters do a fine job of keeping the front seat passengers warm! No need for a hardtop. If I were to buy this again, I'd spend the extra $$$ to get the 330Cic with the 6 spd manual trans. The extra power would make it that much more fun.

I have always driven used cars, reliable Toyotas and the like, and have never splurged on a nice car. Wow! I am so glad I finally broke out of that mentality. This car is worth every cent I paid for it. It is amazing, and with the top down on a sunny California afternoon, it is heaven. The handling, the look, the speed, everything is so much more than I have ever enjoyed in a car. This car makes driving in traffic actually bearable, and even fun. I would do it again in a second.
