I have always driven used cars, reliable Toyotas and the like, and have never splurged on a nice car. Wow! I am so glad I finally broke out of that mentality. This car is worth every cent I paid for it. It is amazing, and with the top down on a sunny California afternoon, it is heaven. The handling, the look, the speed, everything is so much more than I have ever enjoyed in a car. This car makes driving in traffic actually bearable, and even fun. I would do it again in a second.

A great driver's car. The feel you get while driving is just amazing! Smooth, solid and exhilarating all come to mind while behind the wheel. I ordered my car with the sport and premium package, navigation, xenon, steptronic and HK and all are well worth it. With a mix of highway and city driving, I've been averaging 22 MPG. Not bad considering I flog it every once in a while and believe me, it's hard not to in this car! The driving reward is well worth the price of admission!

I previously owned a 320 BMW convertible, and was persuaded to upgrade to the 330. The difference is noticeable. I love the acceleration from a standing start, and the car is even more fun to drive than its predecessor. With a BMW convertible, you can really feel the driving, and hear the engine. I like being able to sense the road beneath the wheels: a true driver's car. It also helps that I have done the BMW driver training program, which gives you more information and practical tips on how to handle these powerful cars. My only gripe is that driving in LA traffic, I don't get to push the car as often as I would like!

My third BMW in five years is definitely the best. I had a '99 Z3 2.8 and a 2000 528 previously. I just traded an S-Type 4.0 on the 330cic and it's good to be back to BMW. The handling and performance are the best in class. I love the subtle '04 changes to the front end. The six-speed is a blast to drive. Despite only small changes to the car in six years, it still turns heads. I'm averaging close to 25 mpg with a 50/ 50 split of in-town and highway driving, which I think is pretty good considering the performance of the car.

I bought this car last april for my wife as she graduated with honors. It is electric red and natural brown and every possible option in it. What a head turner. So far I have almost 4,000 miles on it w/out any problem except one !!! I can't stay away from this car. Every time I need to go somewhere I constantly ask my wife to give me the keys to the bimmer. It is so much fun to drive. I personally have a Lexus GS430 and yes I do agree that I have much more power but who needs it - - if it comes w/out handling. This car has been personally engineered for anybody who is a control freak at speeds about 130 miles per hour. I have driven it at 148 mph - nic

The 330ci is the perfect convertible, the interior amenities are there, GPS, premium HK Stereo, 6 disk cd changer, heated seats, voice activated cell phone (with sprint service) It has a classic mature sports car design, and a fuctionality that fits your lifestyle. (useable back seats and a good sized trunk) The only convertible better in the re-launch of the 6 series convertible, if you can afford that.

The car is so perfectly balanced that it almost drives itself...none of that float, drift, or twitchiness that other vehicles exhibit. The car's power is plentiful while deceptive due to its smoothness. The car is perfectly at home twisting through the N. GA mountain roads, passing other vehicles on the hwy, or cruising leisurely. The car is relatively quiet and it is possible to carry on a normal conversation even at 65MPH with the top down. The car is a real looker too. I hear "beautiful car!" all of the time. I tend to buy cars that are great driving cars - I will buy for performance and ride over looks - this one has all three.

As a long time BMW owner, the new convertible is a superb extension of BMW heritage. The suspension is flawless, allowing for safe, quick maneuvering even in the city. The interior is sporty and comfortable. I"m continually amazed at the pickup and the smoothness of the high-speed ride. This car is a unique driving experience in the city or on the open road.

BMW 330Ci The Best Drop-top Out There

The 330Ci truly is a wonderful car. The Harman Kardon sounds like you are a concert hall. The car's performance is so wonderful it is hard to control it during the break-in period. The 330Ci is one of the most comfortable cars I have ever ridden in and there is very little noise from the outside. The 330Ci's backseat is less to be desired. Another great feature of this vehicle is the adaptive xenon headlamps, which turn towards where you are steering. The adaptive brake lights are great, they get brighter the harder you press them and are made up of LEDs. In conclusion the 330Ci is the ultimate driving machine.

Ordered a 2003 in Jan then changed my order to the 2004 model as soon as they were announced. Took a few extra months (did euro delivery) but I am so glad I did. (1) got the new mystic blue and (2) got the 6 speed manual. The 3.0 litre engine is as sweet a 6 cyl as you'll ever find. If you are in the market for a convertible, drive this one last (then you will be right there at the dealership when you place your order!)

Even though BMW exterior design continues to disappoint me, they remain the best handling, best balanced automobiles on the road today. The current 325 convertible may seem underpowered on paper, but is a joy to drive quickly, which cannot be said for some of its competitors (Audi A4, MB C series). The 325 version is reasonable value for money (I picked mine up in Europe)and drives like a BMW should. If you want a comfortable highway cruiser, or a car with all the latest gizmos, look elsewhere. If you want a car that enjoys being driven hard, and has great feedback through its brakes, steering and suspension, stick with the Bimmer.

I'm still smiling after 400 new car miles. The 330cic clutch grabbed too high for my liking; the 5speed Steptronic was the best way to go for me. This car is strong and wants to go. There are several defects on my vehicle. My vehicle has Premium Package, Sport Package, heated seats, and metallic paint. The dealer cut the price by about $1,600 off MSRP, included rubber BMW floor mats and wheel locks. This car is not made for bigger people, people 250+ lbs. and taller than 6-2 ought to think twice about this car. Top down driving is great at 40F, 70mph on the freeway. It's difficult to keep this car around the speed limit.

Have owned BMW 3 series convertibles for almost 10 years and this thing just gets better with each new series. Fun to drive, getting better traction control each time with nicer firm ride, appointments and power with each upgrade. Can't imagine owning another convert. and I have driven most. Well, maybe the 6 series.

I just retired for the service after 27 years and I purchased the 2004 325CI right before returning to the United States and this was by far my favorite car and I could not have purchase a better car for my money and retirement. I drove it in Italy and Germany and you know the speed limit over there is not really a problem. SO, I put the petal to the metal and I was in love. This is a wonderful and sporty car. I was surprise that the back seat was confortable since I really did not care for the back seat. I don't plan on having anyone seating in the back seat anyway :). But it's was more confortable than the Z4.

This car was the car of my dreams before I leased it and remains that still. Other convertibles I have owned are noisy. Not this one. The top is a thick cloth material that not only keeps the noise down, but also helps contain the interior climate. In the desert, a convertible can lose air conditioning quickly. This one cools down fast and stays cool. And the convertible mechanics - the way the top folds down -- are just plain fun to watch. It handles like a dream. It has great acceleration. And it has fairly good trunk space for a convertible.

I've had the car for about two months and taken on a road trip of 1000 miles. This car is fantastic, its has the tighness of a sports car and the ride of a much bigger car. Even with 18" wheels and the sports suspension. Everything is at the drivers finger tips, its very well laid out, good pick up to enter the freeway.

I know i've only owned this car for about 3 months but my bimmer still gives me goosebumps when I drive her around. Now I can feel the "cheapness" when I drive other non-BMW cars. We moved from NY to Hawaii so, naturally we HAD TO HAVE a convertable. We shopped around, tried several different types, Volvo, Saab, Mercedes, but we kept returning to BMW. The Mazda, and Honda was too small. This is just the perfect car. It runs well, corners exceedingly well, is quick and nimble. The 330Ci is a good looking car. We like the admiring looks the car gets. Service at BMW of Honolulu is outstanding. There is not one thing we would change. It is a very nice car.
