Expensive, but loaded with the latest safety features. Rides and handles great. Unbelievably quiet. No problems thru 4 1/2 years of use.

I have 3 BMW X5 and love these SUV's however wanted a change. The new Q5 is very attractive but limited towing capacity and with production just starting in Mexico I was hesitant to purchase. Q7 Pros:-fit & finish, driver comfort, Bose sound system & electronics. Cons:- Exterior is a little boring and boxy, rear seat comfort, 16 week delivery lead time but worth the wait!

Breaks squeal

My brakes have been squealing in reverse when it is cold for over a year and I have mentioned it to a couple of different Audi dealerships during normal service and nothing was ever done. A few months ago I started researching this issue and found the TSB‘s. I was due for an oil change and waited till my Car had 46,000 miles on it but still under warranty. I took the TSB’s with me to the dealership and ask them to check the brakes and I also brought in a video of the terrible squealing noise it makes while reversing. I too was told that the TSB only applies when the brakes are at a seven or above and mine were measured at a 6 to 7 level. If they had record of me complaining about the squeal noise previously they say they could cover it. Of, coarse I nor them have anything in writing. Total nonsense, and now they say the only way to get rid of the squeal is to replace the brakes according to the TSB. However, brakes do not need to be replaced according to them until you are at a 4 1/2 to 5 level. They estimated the brake replacement job would cost $1400. I filed a claim with Audi of America and just received word that they agree I need to have my brakes replaced. They did not offer any compensation or discount on the brakes. I would like to know more about the class action lawsuit. Does anyone have any information on how to join that? Over the last 10 years I have owned 4 Audis and was preparing to buy a new 2020 before this warranty wore out. I truly can’t believe that a loyal Audi owner would be treated this way!

I have owned BMW sedans, GMC AND Chevrolet large SUV’s including Cadillac ESCALADES and Lexus RX and GX ...the folks who give this vehicle a negative review must be driving a different vehicle....this is without a doubt the most fun motor vehicle I have ever owned .

I really liked the ride, handling, and driving of the Q7, but I really disliked the electronics and positioning of the controls. The entire interior layout of the dash and console was not intuitive and difficult to use, much more complicated than other vehicles. Disappointed overall.
