First Audi
This is my first Audi I was going to buy a used 2000 A 4 After driving it for the day I went to the dealership and leased a new one. I own a G35, ES 300 and Maxima SE . This is by far the the most fun to drive. I added Electronics package and Ocean Blue Pearl paint (awesome). If you own a Bluetooth phone the Electronic package is a MUST! I think I would prefer a larger engine. I'm not crazy about the turbo around town but on the open road the car is a scream. Good thing it has a speed alarm! The six speed tip tronic transmission is sensational. Its brain automatically downshifts to first when you stop. The cruise control is the best I have ever used
First Time Owner
My husband and I had researched used A4s for the last year, and finally found one with the right features. Because we bought it with under 30k miles and the previous owner had taken exceptional care of it, it feels like a brand new car. The handling is WONDERFUL; the car has the optional sport suspension, and it makes a difference. There is plenty of power, and the the car purrs getting onto the freeway. It's also very comfortable inside, and everything about it feels posh. I'm looking forward to driving this car for the next few years!

Here we go again
I had a 2003 TT. Great car to drive, but reliability was terrible. With only 6700 miles everything went wrong. Well I deceided to try Audi again. Only one week old and the memory seats don't work. Hello Audi. They make a great driving car and thats it. Reliability is horrible. The current clutch is also a disaster. It has no definite grip point
Best A4 Yet
I've had several A4's and this is the best on yet. The others were manual shift and I was concerned that there would be a performance loss with this car, but that's not the case. Like all Audi's this one is solid, designed well, and fun to drive. The tiptronic is simply amazing with three different shift options - sport mode does a great job of keeping the revs up, downshifting correctly - all in all, feeling just like a manual without the hassle of shifing. Everyone I know loves this car. I test drove a new 330i, and while the BMW does have a great motor, I'm not a fan of it's design - too overwrought and incongruent - hard to look at, inside and out.
If the interior were better......
Overall this is a very nice vehicle. It handles extremely well. The ride is much better than expected. Very little noise from the road. Good pricing compared to BMW and Mercedes. I have always heard how great the interiors are on Audi's but I am not very impressed. The plastic surrounding the center console looks cheap. The turbocharged four is excellent but noisy. It is quicker than the 200 hp in my Acura TSX but far more noisy.
