Used 2004 Acura TSX Consumer Reviews
Mileage and Performance Supreme
A Depression Baby who finally surrendered to Japanese automakers. TSX may be too fast too much fun and too dependable for a Senior Citizen But it's a real piece of work Worried about mileage and premium gas costs During breakin following speed limits and red lights NAV computer reported 36.7 MPG. Clean cash deal for $2000+ under MSRP.Treatment and follow up by the dealership was outstanding and Honda checking up on purchase and satisfaction was overkill, but then maybe that's the way a customer should be treated I'm afraid to tell my neighbors or kid brother what a pleasure driving is again!
Fun Drive
I love the 25-30 mpg, the 4 cyl is great but wish it was available in v6. It is an excellent car with no problems, going on 28,000 miles.

Nice Ride
My TSX is a smooth, comfortable ride, and handles like a dream ! Very pleased with the quality, and finish all the way around.
From SVT to TSX
When my Ford Contour SVT had a major internal engine failure at 80K miles, I went shopping for a new car. The TSX is the value leader in the sport sedan segment. I loved the RSX, but the TSX was a more practical solution. It's a great all around car with very good driving dynamics and unequalled quality. Ford couldn't build a car like this if it tried. BMW could, but at a much greater price. The dealer experience was positive too. This car is loaded with convenience features and has a lot of safety features built in too. There is not quite as much lateral grip as my Contour, nor low-speed grunt, but the rest of the car more than makes up for that.
Not So Impressed
Bought this car 2wks after it came out in April. Now have 6500mi. Love the look and style, but very poor braking system. My brakes are rubbing against something and have been since about 1500mi. Car has been in the shop twice and am still in a loner today. This is my first Acura coming from a Honda, I'm not so impressed with the reliability particularly since no one seems to know what the problem is. If I had to do it all over again, I would go for the Audi A4.
