Updated after 4 months of ownership: Running gas mileage is about 21-22 mpg. Under the rating, but about as expected based on an earlier vehicle. We really have no gripes about this car except the rearview camera. We learned the infotainment pad quickly, the drivers aids are helpful but not intrusive. This car eats up miles on a road trip and is comfortable around town. I stand by 4.5 stars. Good car, not perfect. Happy with the purchase! Earlier reviewafter a few days of ownership: If you are reading this, you're probably considering this car and cross shopping similar cars, like the BMW X3, Infinity QX50, Volvo XC60, Lexus NX, etc. I will focus on comparisons with those and items that that you notice after a few days that you may not have caught on the test drive(s). First up: things that you may not catch at first 1. This car is cheaper for a fully optioned model than competitors. But, you will notice a few cost cutting places: A) the standard floor mats are awful. Truly atrocious. Budget for a set of premium floor mats from Acura as part of your purchase. B) vanity mirror lights, glovebox light, rear turn signals are not LED but everything else is. C) the back of the front seats is cheap feeling plastic - even fake leather would have been more in place with the rest of the interior. 2. The physical spare tire on AWD, non Aspec cars was a purchasing decision, after an awful experience with harsh-riding, quick-wearing, and hyper-expensive run-flats on our last car. A spare is rare in this segment. But, the flat tire and wheel you take off the car WILL NOT FIT back under the car. the big plastic bag near the jack under the cargo floor is for placing the tire in when you have to put it back in the car. 3. Pay careful attention to the rear view camera. In our advance package model, it is among the worst I have EVER seen and way out of place in a car of this level. It is manageable in bright daylight, but essentially unusable at night. The tech package camera is apparently better - drive this car at night, and try to back up into a dark parking spot if this is important to you. Next: Things you wonder if you can live with: 1. We are having mixed success with the weird dash layout. The open spot under the floating gear selector is more useful than we thought. However, since this pushes back the cupholders, they are less useful than expected. Pay attention to this if you are shorter driver. You will have to move the armrest forward, permanently reducing to 1 cupholder in the middle. Most of the other cars in segment (X3, QX50) have more logical placement. The QX50, in particular, has a perfect armrest for a shorter driver. 2. Screens and infotainment: Again, mixed. We are liking this better than the complex all touch screen controls of the XC60 and the odd ergonomics of the QX50 double screen. The menus are slightly better organized vs X3. But, you will need to spend quite some time setting it up. There is a huge learning curve. Once you get it customized, you don't need the trackpad much while driving, but it will take a while to get there. Watch out for the bluetooth integration if you don't use CarPlay or Android Auto. It works with one of our devices, but does not play well with the other. 3. Artificial engine noise. Yeah, on your test drive you heard it revving along. It is fake and a little obnoxious after a bit. Comfort setting makes it better, but you cannot turn it off without also disabling noise canceling features. Drive on a freeway with concrete roads and accelerate around in traffic while having a conversation with a rear seat passenger. Evaluate if this noise bothers you. 4. No AC control in rear. There is no reason why this car should not have it (another cost-savings?). Our main rear seat passenger is mostly colder than us most of the time, so seat heaters back there help. But there is no recourse if your main passenger likes more air in their face. More standard Pros and Cons: 1. Great driving car. Comparable turn-in with the BMW, sportier than the Volvo or Lexus. Some might find it slightly twitchy. The steering is more appropriately weighted than the QX50 and the ride is softer than that or the X3. On balance, we liked this one best. 2. Looks awesome from the front. But, it looks oddly tall and narrow from the back. I could do without the silly chrome strip on the side. The Qx50 is the best-looking car in segment, but we felt this was right behind it. 3. The cargo area is more useful than competitors, even if the cubic feet are the same. It is longer and flatter, with less volume going up. This leads to more useable floor space. 4. Seat comfort is second in class, with only the QX50 being better (possibly the most comfortable car seats EVER on that). The adjustability on RDX seats is incredible. 5. Sound system is best-in-class. I wish it had a better subwoofer and controls to specifically pump up lowest notes, but this a pretty minor gripe.

Not Perfect but a Great Car

Looking for a very well priced semi luxury crossover then this might just fit the bill. Is this a perfect SUV, No. Is it a very well rounded vehicle for a good price, Yes. To be honest I love this car. For me it is a perfect balance for everything I was looking for. This car has the power that most people want with decent gas milage. It has the comfort and luxury found only in higher priced vehicles. You really get a lot out of what you pay for this vehicle. To me this is like the balance between the more expensive Audi's, Infinity's, Volvo's, and the want to be CX5 signature. It fits somewhere in between but closer to the $1000's more luxury brands. It looks great, drives great, and does not destroy you with payments. Compared to a fully decked out Rav 4 (non prime) and you are not paying much more but you get so much more. On paper it will check almost all the boxes that people needing a crossover with need. Edited...it has now been 2 years since our purchase and I have had no issues with this vehicle. I have to admit though since Covid hit, it barely has 20000 miles on it. Update... 3 years after owning car I still have not had a single issue with this car. very happy with purchase.

Cool and fun vehicle

I have had the RDX for 3 months and put 6000 miles on it.. The vehicle has plenty of power like a sports car, has the offroad capability as a suv, and the Sh-awd is awesome. Very comfortable and relaxing ride while on long trips. Fuel economy is about average on daily driving. On a car trip I did 140 miles with 2 adults, two kids, dog and back loaded with bags. Slight grade kept it between 65 and 70 mph and got 29.1 mpg on premium gas. On the way back 31.8 mpg. Love the jeweled headlights. What I don't like is to get the couple extra things like fog lights and vented seats which should be standard you gotta go and spend quite a bit more for the next package. The infotainment freezes up sometimes when I plug my phone in and you have to do hard reset or shut the car off. The rear turn signals have bulbs instead of what the competition uses. Gotta use an app for remote start instead of having it on the key fob which you gotta pay for the app every year or pay 500 for another fob with remote start on it. Overall it's a great car and I recommend it. I'll write another review once I got more miles on

I was looking for a new vehicle that would accept my large 6'3" frame at a reasonable price. My last vehicle was a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee which provided ample leg room for me. We took it on a road trip recently and found it to be very accommodating space wise. The ride is smooth with a comfortable interior. When there is a need for power there is more than enough to do the job. I have driven it just a little over 2500 miles so far still getting accustom to the Tech features of this vehicle. This is a very good road vehicle with hidden storage compartment located in the rear of the vehicle. Rear vision is restricted but I have come to rely on side view mirrors indicate blind spot traffic. Back up camera is excellent with ample warning of pedestrian and on coming vehicle traffic. Overall I am pleased with my purchase of the RDX.

You had better have your foot on the gas, this car wants to go! SO MUCH FUN TO DRIVE. Never had a car I could say that about before. The most beautiful interior (exterior is a bit bland). Great tech even though its a little difficult. Love the brown leather. HUGE storage capacity when you fold down the rear seats.

Excellent car for the price. Power and handling are above standard. Interior is really nice and the stereo system and infotainment system is a quick learn and very responsive. On a trip got 26.8 miles a gallon with air on. Overall the RDX so far is what I expected…..power….comfort….looks….and affordability with Honda reliability. Expect to last a long time. update after 3 months...went from PA to NC,,,26.8 MPG with air on...Braking system saved me during driving rain storm as a driver stopped suddenly in front of me...comfortable ride for 10HR drive...didn't realize that the steering wheel being thicker would cut down on hand fatigue but it did...handling on the PA Turnpike in the mountains was fantastic...no leaning in seat around the mountain turns...touch pad is a easy learn without looking at it....will update if anything else occurs but overall completely satisfied with this car 2/23/22: Car rides extremely well...comfortable and powerful....sound system is excellent.....getting 26.8 on trips and 23.5 around town,,,handling is outstanding...worth a test drive for this car

Redesigned model is so Vastly improved over previous design. Power, Handling, interior/exterior design and included features are big plus. Software update didn’t work and took a dealer visit along with brakes squeaking within 2 months. Both issues resolved however. Lane keep assist could be better; cannot rely on it on windy roads.

We leased this coming from the previous generation RDX since we wanted to get the SH AWD and we were pleasantly surprised at all the overall improvements they have made in the car. It isn't the best at anything compared to the competition, but it is also priced much less and is comfortable enough and has just enough performance to make it a pleasant, if not thrilling, driving experience. This is perfect for our needs, since we just wanted a simple people mover while enjoying the drive and didn't need to show off to the neighbors or anything. I had trepidations regarding the TouchPad interface based on reviews, but after using it for a while I find it superior to touch screen and combined with voice commands the system works well. Also we contacted several dealers and they had a lot incentives going on. I did want to mention the biggest annoyance I have with the car is the auto engine off during stops cannot be defaulted to off, so it must be manually turned off every time the car is started. Not a huge problem honestly, but it is a feature I personally hate. My wife likes it since she says she can take her foot off the brake, which is a separate feature anyways, but to each their own.

THE ACURA I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR

RDX is a driver’s crossover. Powerful engine, fast, the SH-AWD hugs the road well and it’s FUN to drive all while the occupants are wrapped in a quiet, tech filled and, shall I say, luxurious cabin. Love the ELS sound system. Acura is often downplayed to its European rivals, but that’s a small reason why I chose this vehicle. Acura has a decent luxury and performance pedigree, without the pretense other “more” upscale brands idealize.

Perfect vehicle for someone who doesn’t want a suv that’s gigantic or too small. I love this vehicle because it gives me just the right amount of space that I need with a 4 cylinder engine. One of my biggest concerns coming from a car was getting a suv that would guzzle gas. This vehicle is great on gas and I can’t wait to see how it rides in the winter with snow. Another thing that I love is that the base model comes with a sunroof, power seats etc. I would definitely recommend this vehicle to anyone who wants to go from a car to a crossover. It’s so comfortable!

Horrific Software, Great Drive, MPG Low

I am a life long Honda driver and fan, and there are some days I cannot believe Honda let this car on the road. I feel like a Beta tester. The touch pad is jumpy, and there are times when I am holding my hand steady and as I click on the control pad, the control jumps and another selection loads. Airplay randomly doesn't work about every 5th time, and literally will not load until I restart the car. I find myself cursing the software engineers for this car. The drive itself is terrific and sporty enough for a 4 cylinder car. Seats are comfy, seat belt anchor needs to be 1/2 inch longer. Drivers side heat vent blows into steering wheel and cannot be properly adjusted. MPG has been at the lower end of the expected range, but with Covid I'm doing very little highway driving.

This car drives great and makes you feel safe and confident. Lots of tech. Lots of luxury. The adjustable ride on the advance package is amazing. The auto stop/idle is highly aggravating. Acura did not do a great job to make it seamless. You can tell when its on and it hesitates. So much electronic items the battery drains quickly. May need to upgrade the battery. Wish side mirrors moved in when parked. Otherwise car is great besides this small items.

Handling is Good... Rest not so much

9 months of Ownership and 10k miles in on a 2021 RDX A-Spec w/ SH-AWD. - CON: Ongoing issue with brakes squeaking/grinding since 2nd week of ownership. Numerous trips to the dealer yields no repair. It is a common issue with the A-specs and a fix was issued for the 2019-2020 models but Acura has not authorized a fix for the 2021 models. Dealers have been instructed to say 'sorry, we are waiting on Acura to release a statement and until then cannot help you". - CON: Carplay integration. Since it is not a touch screen using Apple Carplay is harder than using your phone while driving (not recommended). Very glitchy. After swapping out the USB cable and even trying different devices the same lagging and often freezing of the whole infotainment system occurs. - CON: Sloped roof looks great but hinders rear storage significantly. - CON: Towing capacity/Hitch Size vs. the competition - only allows for 1,500 in towing capacity and the small size hitch. All competitors have the 2" hitch option with 4,000 in towing capacity. With the oversized (squeaking) brakes you would anticipate this to be a higher number. - PRO: Handles similar through the curves as my Infiniti sedan (great!) - PRO: Subfloor storage in trunk helps make up for the low trunk ceiling. Having owned a Q5 - I would recommend the Audi over the Acura unless your only concern is the ability to speed through the hills.

Precision/Mechanically Precise

Acura from the latin word Acu defines precision, mechanically precise. My wife and I recently purchased a 2021 RDX SUV SH-AWD with Technology Package. Prior to purchasing this model, we evaluated Nissan Rogue Platinum, Nissan Murano, Volvo XC40 and Honda CRV. We selected the RDX over these other models on the personal preferences of visual and functional style in the cabin, standard package offerings, seating comfort, ease of entry and exiting of both front and back seating and safety ratings. We are still learning and adapting to the technology provided in the vehicle but will continue to commit to learn all the many features provided.

Where do I begin?

My wife and I decided to give Acura a try coming out of a BMW X3. I figured, Honda is famous for great engineering, surely an Acura would be the best example of the company’s efforts. However, the RDX has let us down in many ways. I’ll begin with the issues that have no fix according to the dealership technicians. The transmission: at slow speeds when parking for instance, it is slow going from drive to reverse and vice versa. I’ll routinely have my foot on the accelerator with no response. The best way I can describe it, is like a transmission with over 100,000 miles on it. And then the front brakes and suspension. They’re loud, it sounds like an old car with worn bushings. When going from reverse to drive, you hear the pads release and the suspension settling as the weight shifts. And finally, the steering at slow speeds when parking the car. Typically steering is well dampened going from lock to lock. Not in this car: the steering wheel stops with a hard and loud thunk. The last car I experienced this in was a 2006 Corolla. And now the issues that are fixable but have not yet been resolved. The sun roof makes a loud crack whenever the car’s chassis flexes, for instance, when going up a driveway. A recall service was completed replacing the window frame, the issue has not gone away. And the infotainment screen routinely displays blue or black and white static. A recall service had the connectors replaced twice; the issue has not gone away. The good stuff is worth mention, however. Once the car gets up to speed the suspension and steering are very nice and composed. And the seats are very comfortable and supportive, they are the primary reason my wife chose the car. The plastics and switch gear are also high quality, nothing feels cheap. The leather is also nice, especially when you treat it with some leather conditioner. I don’t know if we are just unlucky, if we got a particularly bad example of the car but the odds of having all these quality issues on one car seams low. I don’t know, please comment if you can relate.

i just purchased a new 2021 RDX a spec. i didnt notice the rear door hatch is uneven when its closed the left side has a small gap and the right side has a bigger gap between the door and the body panel i took it to my dealer where i purchased my car Cerritos Acura in California, the service writer excused was that this is a normal issued with this vehicles and theres nothing they can do about, i expend $45k for this vehicle and to have this bad rear door hatch gap is real bad, i also notice the real seal on the panoramic sunroof is higher on one side than the other and again got the same respond from the dealership that its a normal issued with this vehicles like telling you just deal with it dont complaint, i can tell nothing can be done in regards to it. so be aware of this issues when you purchased this vehicles look closed for any factory defects.

Bought a 2021 RDX aspec sh-AWD , my 4th Acura first was 2004 Acura TL best sedan that time , then 2006 first gen RDX, next was 2012 TSX special edition 2.4 engine non- turbo they don’t make this car anymore fun and reliable car.Now 2021 suv-iish are the in thing n I’m getting old RDX easy to get in and out because of the height, oldie now and still want to enjoy sporty driving, so research guys internet easy to use find out what’s best for you in terms of performance, handling , long term reliability and of course value for you’re money. RDX 2.0 turbo 10 speed transmission, awesome engine and sh-AWD best AWD , and has good resale value, everybody wants one it’s a Honda upscale.

I have read some other reviews about rattles in the dash- thought mine was an outlier, but apparently not. It is maddening and the dealer is no help. I haven't had a car for 20 years that had rattles in the interior. Fuel economy is well below expected. Touchpad controlled for radio is slow to respond and requires too many inputs. I like the way it rides- a little firm is good for me, engine noise a little loud, but acceptable. Power is good. Auto headlight system prone to flash high beams when following cars and doesn't want to drop to low beam quick enough for oncoming traffic. I have opted to use manual high beams. The most annoying is that although the info screen is a nice size, the font ( size) of the text is so small I can't read it without reading glasses- can't read the outside temp, miles, or names of songs and artists on the radio Overall I would not recommend

Biggest regret of my life!

First of all, Apple car play is not the same as having navigation! Brakes Sauk every morning even after having the brakes and rotors replaced twice before hitting 5,000 miles, there is some kind of fuel/transmission problem where an indicator light will come on and my car will not shift gears like it should but when I turn my car off and turn it back on it will work fine so the dealership can’t duplicate the problem, The back up camera is useless when it’s raining because you can’t see out of it, anytime I go into my driveway or over a bump the panoramic roof makes all kinds of creaking noises, The air conditioner is a joke, i’m not exactly sure why they have a trunk open button on the driver door because it doesn’t work unless your vehicle is on and the doors are closed…. And the biggest slap in the face of all is that I reached out to Acura and nobody cares whatsoever. I’ve worked in the automotive industry for 17 years and I have never ever experienced anything like this from a manufacture. Save yourself the headache and the frustration and go by a Lexus, I wish I had!

Frustrating!

I unexpectedly fell for a sales tactic, meaning, I traded in my 2014 RDX for 2021 RDX. It was an impulse purchase and while I'm not having total buyers remorse, there are some features that are frustrating. Now when I purchased my 2014, I read some negative reviews and I had a friend who had the same exact car who didn't like it at all. I bought it anyway and really liked it for many years. Reliable, relatively low cost to own, great trade with over 105K miles. I read many reviews for the 2021. Some positive, some negative. While I love the V6, I'm getting used to the 4CYL. The one thing that I absolutely hate is the TouchPad. Hate, hate, hate. Its just not responsive as you think it should be. Now I know technology features are quirky - we also have a 2022 XC60 and that's frustrating & quirky too, but you would think that with all the drivers who have the TouchPad and complain about it, that Acura would troubleshoot, fix and push an update to the car. I almost side swiped a car while I was trying to navigate my Android Auto to change a song. Totally my fault, certainly not Acura's fault, but still very frustrating. I told my husband, if there is one thing that is going to get me to trade this car in - its the touchpad.

I am a little disappointed in this car. Love the look of it but could use some improvements. Very disappointed in the gas mileage. Was advertised to get 28MPG. I have yet to surpass 22MPG. That is at the speed limit. Stereo needs a more SURROUND sound. The sound sounds like it is all coming from the front speakers. The interior lighting is a little inadequate. I am not a fan of the start/stop of the engine at lights etc. I understand that it is a fuel saving feature but takes a little getting used to. Not happy that the Tech pkg requires additional fees to use all of the features.

Update after 40,000 plus miles: Still don't buy!

I've now had this car just over 2 years. It now has 40,000 on it. Except for the continuing problems with Apple CarPlay the vehicle is a joy to drive. I've had nothing but routine maintenance performed on it except for one faulty wheel bearing that was covered by warranty. Apple CarPlay now works about 25% of the time even though the dealer replaced the computer once, acknowledging, however, that it probably wouldn't help - it didn't. Apple CarPlay in my 2021 RDX with about a thousand miles works less than half the time. This is not the same problem the 2020 RDX had that could be fixed with a periodic Factory Rest. Acura recognizes it has a problem and does not have a solution. Moreover, it does not have a timeline on when, or if, it will generate a fix. So, unless Acura demonstrates that the problem is solved and Apple CarPlay is important to you, don’t buy a 2021 RDX. I didn’t learn I had a problem until my second day of ownership. And did not learn it could not be fixed until several days later. I am screwed I fear. I now have over 20,000 miles on my 2021 RDX and have had the computer that operates Apple CarPlay replaced once. The replacement has not improved the performance of Apple CarPlay. It still works only about half the time. Acura acknowledges it is a software problem they are unable, or unwilling, to fix.

A brand new 2021 RDX A-spec Brake system failure

I recently bought a brand new 2021 RDX A-spec in blue color. I loved this car very much at the beginning, but it only last for a week. I got my car a week ago, and drive it less than a week. The car is already showed the brake system failure and disable my the road assistance features. I am totally disappointed their quality at all. I am so regret to trade in my Subaru forest for this shitty car. I have a confidence of Acura in the past, but this faith is crumbling now.

The Acura RDX is a half-baked product. I had a 2020 RDX that had many issues with its infotainment system. The system would crackle and pop when using Apple CarPlay–so much so that I stopped using CarPlay altogether because it was so distracting. This issue traveled to the 2021 Acura RDX models as well, but my dealership (and even Acura corporate) pretended like they could not replicate the issue after having the car for a few days. The second I left the dealership with iPhone connected, CarPlay froze and then crackled and popped. Garbage. Also, my 21 RDX stalled out when I was trying to pass a truck at 80mph. Again, the dealer and corporate said they "could not replicate the issue" and passed the keys right back to me. This is a serious safety issue, and one that others appear to be having as well. Search any of the many Acura car forums and other 20 and 21 RDX owners are having similar transmission slip/stalling issues. This is extremely unsafe and yet, Acura claims to have no idea what is happening. I have had my vehicle back for a few weeks now and the transmission has slipped twice. So, my advice is to save up a bit more money and go for the Germans if you really want a small crossover SUV. Many, many people gripe about the upfront costs and maintenance costs of the Germans, but check Consumer Reports ratings any day and they are quite favorable towards the Germans these days. Don't waste time on this dying, unreliable brand that is nothing more than a warmed over Honda with a different badge and even worse reliability.

I got an 2021 RDX tech package this September. I used to complained the weather strapping felt of from the tailgate, but it turned out to be the extra foam came off. The dealership took care of it nicely and returned it back. But after a month, the infortainment system was suddenly down for no reason. After several attempts to restart the car, it's back.

I bought a tach package back in Feb. I gifted to myself for my birthday, is absolutely nice to look at and the interior is very stylish and modern. The problem it has is that, when the car is driving over irregular surfaces, its frame normally twist and, at that point it sound like the sheet metal is being bent, I took it to the dealer and I was told some clamps had to be tighten and it was done, the situation dissappear for awhile but it starting to coming back , second appointment for that issue has been scheduled. The second issue is that now, 17 month later started developing some rattling in the A colums, center console and dashboard. I don't think a car of that level should ever rattle, anywhere. I'm kind of disappointed. Other than that I love my RDX.

I had a 2018 Acura RDX AWD before this one and I'll say that the new one is 10x better in every way! The all wheel drive system is amazing in the snow! The performance is top notch too. It's a lot peppier than the old one. I didn't know how I would like the turbo, but it's actually a nice boost in power. It's got more room in the second row and rear cargo than before too! The only thing that is annoying is Apple CarPlay, ugh sometimes it takes forever to load, but not all the time. The trackpad took some time to get used to, but overall I prefer it over a touchscreen. I use Siri 99% of the time anway. Gas mileage is "okay" but I don't care because I prefer a car that performs when I want it to instead of a gas saver lol.

I've had my 2021 RDX for 16 months and it is a great driving vehicle and a great engine. But the tech inside is very bad for a $50k vehicle. I have to have the radio/entertainment system replaced for the 2nd time in just 12k miles. And I'm sure it will be the same defective system that I already have and it will die a 3rd time. Acura just doesn't seem to care. Such a shame for a car that has so much potential. Naturally the dealer can't do anything and Acura customer service could care less since they already have my money. Pretty bad when my last 3 GM vehicles had zero faults in the 3 yrs I owned each.

Weather seal came off in two weeks

We got a 2021 RDX tech package on Sep 18th, 2020. It is a decent crossover in general. Here are the pros and cons I summarized in the past two weeks: Pros: 1. to a 2021 RDX tech package on Sep 18th, 2020. It is a decent crossover in general. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: 1. The panoramic moonroof is amazing. My son loves it so much. 2. Driving experience is good and it is easy to hand-on. 3. The floor on the second row is flat, compared to other AWD SUVs. If you have to put three people in the second row, the guy sitting in the middle will love it. Cons: 1. The foam weather seal between the spoiler and rear window came off in two weeks. I am pretty sure that I didn't anything on it cuz I didn't even know there is a thin foam weather seal. I noticed that when I did the car wash and called the dealership immediately. They asked me to bring the car back to the dealership. 2. The power is somehow inconsistent at low speed (under 35 mph) on Sport Mode. The issue is mitigated on Comfort Mode. I haven't tested it on the Snow Mode or Sport+ Mode. I guess it is because of the CVT+Turbo combination. 3. Auto stop-start function seems laggy. At least it is slower than Outback. Fortunately, we can turn it off.

I bought my RDX about a month ago and i hear this rattle sound by the dash area going over bumps. I took it to the dealer and they replaced some clips but didn’t solve the problem. The noise is significant. I have owned several Acura product over the years and I see reliability is a big issue. I don’t know if I would consider another Acura product.

Beautiful car, lovely interior. Gas mileage isn't great (have avg 20mpg so far.) The TouchPad has been easy to get used to, specially since previously owning Mazdas. Only other gripe, is it seems odd that remote start isn't standard on a vehicle that was 48k when new, when Civics have it standard on most trims. Also as an FYI, Aspec trims do not come with a spare tire.

It's definitely a fun vehicle but acura doesn't give you a whole lot options unless you pay for the advance or aspec packages which is towards the 50k price tag. The only way to achieve good fuel economy is the higher octane and keeping it below 70 mph and making sure you keep it in tenth gear on a long trip. About 29 30 mpg. Every day driving warm weather 24 to 25. Cold 23. City driving below 20 mpg. Very comfortable ride and good handling if you don't mind filling the tank up often. I traded in at 23k for brand new accord hybrid.
