Comfortable and Sporty- love to drive it.
My lease was up on my 17 RDX and was able to get a 19 RDX for a reasonable price. I was hesitant at first upon reading all of the complaints about the infotainment system but at test drive I was sold. My car has so much pep and the seats are ridiculously comfortable. Love the electronic brake hold but I have turned off the auto idle stop. It was annoying. I am a gadget person so I didn’t have problems with the infotainment. It was straight forward and easy to use. In full disclosure, I never used the navigation in my old 17 RDX and have no plans to do so in the 19 RDX. Apple CarPlay and Waze is what I use. I do mostly highway driving and managed to get 24 mpg. Not a big deal for me because I simply love driving this car!

Beautiful suv. Rattles like a old car
On your test drive. Make sure to back up so you can hear how bad these cars rattle. Also the panoramic roof rattles. Mileage 1200. My advisor said well look on bright side you don’t drive in reserve all the time. Not ok!

Still not a huge fan but things are less cruddy
just a few months into ownership and we are VERY disappointed that Honda knowingly sold defective cars! Steer Clear. No more Acuras for us. Updated 7/30/20: Things have been going more smoothly with the computer system and display with our RDX since the dealership went above and beyond to take a brand new screen out of another car and replace ours against the advice of the automotive company. Seems like it fixed the issues the screen was having. We've heard that the Apple Play and Android Car Play work now that they've updated several times but frankly, we're still too shell shocked to try it because we'd rather leave well enough alone until the lease is up so that we can return it without further problems. So, I raised my rating from one star to 3 primarily because the dealership in Warwick, RI is OUTSTANDING! We really appreciate them. I'm still very pleased with my 2015 MDX. It too has glitches like the brake warning coming on for no reason except shadows and the voice commands not understanding simple commands and names but the pros outweigh the cons for sure.

very disappointed with the 2019 model
Why did Acura take so many shortcuts? This is no longer a luxury model vehicle. Based on my experience with the last RDX I had, I purchased the 2019 model and have been very disappointed. The technology package is crap. The keyless entry is not really a keyless entry if I have to pull out the fab from my purse and hold it up to the door handle to unlock the car. The bluetooth is extremely slow to respond to my phone when trying to play music (there is a 3 second lag). If I plug my phone in to charge using the usb port, the sound system gets confused and I have no music suddenly. I have to click on all sorts of buttons in a specific sequence to get it to respond. Not safe while driving and exceptionally frustrating. The cheap aftermarket sound system in my 2001 vehicle responds better than this car. And, is anyone else frustrated that they made the car smaller on the inside? I feel claustrophobic with this model. will NOT purchase from Acura again.
Wanted to love it...
As an 2014 MDX owner, I wanted to love the new and improved RDX. The new IIHS test results results brought me back to consider swapping for the smaller vehicle. Acura still doesn’t get the need for simplified controls... pros: crash testing, headlights, appearance. Cons: dog of an engine and noisy driving experience—with soundproofing and hybrid/electric kick, maybe I would be back to reconsider...
