Not what you would expect from the luxury brand
Have it for 2 month; drove 2k miles, half in the city, half on the highway. 20.8 mpg far below manufacturer's claim of 22 in the city and 28 on highway. Engine too loud during acceleration. My 2007 Nissan Titan is quieter.

Disappointed 2019 RDX owner
Don't buy this vehicle!! I have had more problems with this car than any other previous vehicle. The navigation system seems to do it's own thing from time to time. I recently tried to use Apple Carplay which was working for about 4 days before it completely stopped working and messed up the system. I turned off the vehicle which left my screen on. I rebooted the system and now my radio will not even work. This car is the worst ever!! Oh and the gas mileage is awful. I find myself refueling my vehicle every week and it's very expensive. You only get 21mpg....very very very disappointing!! Nice on the outside, but the headaches are too much to bare. Buy another vehicle!!

RDX 2019 Touch pad, voice recognition and GPS navi
I bought RDX 2019 in Jan, it's been almost 10 months now. The Touch pad, voice recognition and GPS navigator is total mess does not work even after replacement of touch pad and update of software multiple times. Open a ticket with customer care, escalated to higher management. Very poor response, I do own a Honda Van, even Honda works well than Acura. I spoke to the customer service higher level, they do not understand at all. I wish i knew this before purchase, would have bought Lexus or Audi. Now i am stuck.

Glad I am only leasing.....but still
I turned in my 10 year old Acura MDX in August 2018 and drove off in a brand new 2019 RDX. I Loved my MDX....didn’t want to give it up but, (1) the V6 was never that powerful, and I no longer needed the size or 3rd row seat and (2) I needed updated technology to listen to my music, integrate my preferred GPS apps, etc. Well, all I can say is I am glad I’m not stuck with this car for the long term. It sucks. I will likely never own another Acura because of how awful this car is. Here’s my analysis: PROS: LOOKS....but looks aren’t everything. This car is gorgeous and I was definitely lured by the sleek, modern features that my old MDX didn’t have #1 the panoramic sunroof. I LOVE this, and #2 the body & super cool mesh grill. INTERIOR DESIGN....if only the mechanics and technology behind the visually stunning dash & console actually worked! Imagine! CONS: the idea of offering apple play integration then not having it work is an absolute con. I’m lucky if I can listen to 3 songs in a row without the connection dropping - the navigation system is unreliable as well, and today a new glitch, the entire infotainment system wouldn’t load/glitched my entire drive home from my morning Starbucks run (yes I am aware these are first world problems, but I am paying money for something that just does not work - period). This car isn’t very powerful, it is mediocre at best - acceleration - unless you are on the sport+ mode is weak. Handling turns makes me apprehensive- handling is subpar. I don’t drive long distances so I don’t have an issue with fuel efficiency but on weekends where I’m all over town that tank seems to disappear before I know it. All in all, I don’t think I’ve ever been this disappointed or let down by a car - especially a new one I bought with 17 miles on it. Thankfully it still LOOKS good, next time I will listen to my husband the edmunds researcher in the family, and not all the HYPE....

Comfortable and Sporty- love to drive it.
My lease was up on my 17 RDX and was able to get a 19 RDX for a reasonable price. I was hesitant at first upon reading all of the complaints about the infotainment system but at test drive I was sold. My car has so much pep and the seats are ridiculously comfortable. Love the electronic brake hold but I have turned off the auto idle stop. It was annoying. I am a gadget person so I didn’t have problems with the infotainment. It was straight forward and easy to use. In full disclosure, I never used the navigation in my old 17 RDX and have no plans to do so in the 19 RDX. Apple CarPlay and Waze is what I use. I do mostly highway driving and managed to get 24 mpg. Not a big deal for me because I simply love driving this car!
