Great vehicle for the price. We compared it to the lexus rx 350 and the mdx was the best bang for your buck! More space with the same technology and quality as lexus and cheaper price.

Unreliable Navigation System

The navigation map system in not reliable. When an update becomes available, be prepared to pay $145 or more plus tax & shipping for the software. My concern is traveling outside of my hometown to places that have updated their roads. Unfortunately for the amount of money spend for this vehicle, you CANNOT rely on the navigation map system. I purchased my vehicle in June 2015 and today (9/13/16) I contacted Honda Navigation System and was told there is no information about a forth coming update to the navigation map system. I have to use Google Maps from my mobile phone which is much more reliable.

2016 MDX - The best car ever owned

My 2016 MDX continues to impress me with her performance as she gets older. Her mpg is dependent on how I drive: If I am driving on inner roads with too many traffic lights, then, sure, she averages 12-15mpg ... but when she is on the highway and I religiously drive at 70mph, then she gives me 30mpg! Above 75mph, she averages 26-27mpg. I have had a transmission scare once when the dashboard flashed with "transmission error." Thankfully my dealership diagnosed a gear box issue and not a transmission issue. She has plenty of cargo space; We have moved a piano, Twin XL mattress, and many other bulky things in that car. She is quiet on highways, with literally no road noise. Her seats are wide and the third row works quite well for kids and the dog. She is aging, but I am not looking to replace her anytime soon. I highly highly recommend MDX to anyone who is looking for a luxurious and dependable large SUV.

Having driven many vehicles including Lexus RX and Mercedes R, E & C classes, this is my favorite hands down!

Doesn’t sit up as high Radio stations won’t come in and dealerships won’t acknowledge Back up camera is terrible quality. Also known issues. Doesn’t have parking sensors. Heated seats turn off with car and rest to be off when you return.
