1993 Plymouth Sundance
My wife and I bought a new 93 Sundance a few months before we were married. We needed new car, with air and automatic for her, but we also needed every $ we had for a down payment on our first house. The Shadow/Sundance felt more substantial than a Cavalier or Tempo. We sold it 11 years later with 155,000 miles. The 2.2 engine never let us down. The air conditioning lasted about 9-10 … years, but by then the car was too old to get it repaired, and there was a little bit of rust and a bit of peeled paint. For what we paid for it, it was all we could have asked for, and worth every $. Our subsequent cars were larger and more expensive, but not as good a value dollar for dollar.
