2012 Hyundai Sonata Limited 4dr Sedan w/Wine Interior (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 6A)
I have just over 22,000 miles on my '12 Sonata Turbo. This car has been in the shop for many Different problems since I bought it. Hyundai service is terrible, the company just does not care about the owners of their cars. My Sonata has a stalling problem that has plagued it for 6 months now, it just quits, could be on the interstate, at an intersection, a red light, no rhyme nor reason. … Its very dangerous to have this happen so often, Hyundai has not been able to fix this issue. I've also had issues with the A/C, nav/audio unit, headliner, antifreeze smell through the dash vents, abs brake sensor, and several rattles and other poor quality car noises.
Be Very Careful!!!

On January 31st 2018 I was coming home from an errand. I drove into the driveway and put the vehicle in Gear. I collected my things and got out of the car and shut the door. After shutting the door I heard this noise like a ringing/ hum noise coming from the car. My husband said that might happen if I tried to get out of the car with out it being in gear or the key sensor was left in the … car. All these thiowere told to me after he purchased the car for me. Also, that sound could happen if the car off button was not turned off. Well when I was out of the car and heard that sound, I opened the door and leaned in to see what the issue was. Instantly and quickly the car backed up quickly as I was knocked down and basically hit by the door, hitting my head on the driveway and dragged into the street. My left ankle was crushed and I had a large “road rash area on my right knee. I battled these injuries with subsequent Ankle surgery and rehab and the “road rash” injury required 2 more surgeries resulting in code to 2 and 1/2 months in medical and rehab hospital. No one claims to know what happened. What I can say That I would be very cautious about buying a key less entry/ keyless start vehicle from Hyundai. It could cost you what I went through or worse!
