DETROIT — The 2013 Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels Edition Convertible is now available in a one-time production run, starting at $41,330, including a $900 destination charge.

The 2013 Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels Edition Convertible spun off the uplevel 2SS model starts at $49,180, including shipping.

The Hot Wheels package adds $6,995 to the 2013 Camaro 2LT and 2SS models.

The package includes Kinetic Blue Metallic exterior paint, 21-inch black-painted wheels with red outline stripe, front and rear performance tires, the Hot Wheels logo on the front, rear and side and a Hot Wheels decal/stripe package. The cabin gets a black interior with red accent stitching, Hot Wheels embroidery on the front seats and badging on the steering wheel and sill plates. Other touches include a dealer-installed black-painted engine cover, side gill decals and premium carpeted floor mats.

GM showed off the Camaro Hot Wheels Edition Convertible on Wednesday in advance of the 97th Indianapolis 500 race in May.

The 2013 Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels Edition debuted at the 2012 SEMA Show. The special Camaro gets its inspiration from the popular toy cars. It marks the first time that a full-size, production Hot Wheels car has been offered for sale by any manufacturer, according to GM.
