Used 2015 Volvo S60 T5 Drive-E 4dr Sedan w/Prod. End 6/14 (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 8A) Consumer Reviews
Eight years old, 65,000 miles and drives like new
Pros: 1. Handles well after putting in a high-performance rear sway bar from IPD in Portland, OR 2. High performance all-season tires make a huge difference in handling 3. Polestar software upgrade was well worth the money for increased torque/performance 4. The car has been virtually problem free. Thermostat needed replacing and one of the seals on the AC compressor 5. I just got back from a road trip and averaged 31mpg on the highway. City driving is about 20 mpg. I only recently started using 93 octane gas. I don't see a performance difference but I'm hoping it will be better for the engine over time. Cons 1. It lost 1 quart of oil in 5,000 miles a year ago. They did the compression test and my car just passed. They did the test again 6 months later and the car was fine. That was 15,000 miles ago and I haven't lost oil since. It is a known problem with the car that the compression rings are defective. Volvo will cover it, I think, up to about 60,000 miles on the car. This is a big negative. I don't know what years stopped having that problem but one must look into it.
