The car is an embarrassment to Volkswagen
At 40k miles the tires (rated for 70k) needed replaced. Tire rotations every 10 k miles and they still blew out. The service manager could not give a reason why and recommend to rotate the tires every 5k miles. Looks like the same problem with the CC’s is rearing it’s ugly face with the Tig.

First New Car In 15 Years
Hopefully the warranty will be honored if ever needed. Pricey from the SEL to the premium but we keep cars for a long time. Loads of features we may never need but they are there. Car rides nicely and has good visibility. Ease of entry and exit were very important. This is a new model so only time will tell if we have made a wise choice.

Owner review
Comparing to my Wife's 2016 Tiguan: More of what we wanted; roomier inside, Lots of storage- 3rd row seating is kind of a moot point, always down. The only down sides are the 184hp vs 200hp and turning Auto Engine stop-start Off each time I start the car.

Automatic transmission feels like novice manual
Gear shifting 1 to 2, 2 to 3 feels like it is driven by novice driver. Car engages in wrong downshifting. Trouble started during third year. Company changed the battery, but trouble persisted. Car is slow to accelerate when passing a car. Otherwise, no trouble and good car.
