I have a 2018 Tiguan that I bought brand new. It has been full of problems since the beginning. There is a constant noise from the B side pillar that comes and goes as it pleases. The transmission is extremely jerky. It is so bad the first couple of shifts that I have to apologize to the people in the car with me and tell them that this is not the first time I have driven a vehicle. There are times that the vehicle feels like it wants to stall out when you have to pull out quickly. I have a bunch of stains on my ceiling now that continues to get worse (I am not spilling anything on it). I constantly get errors while driving. Some errors say, "Only exit the vehicle in park" and "You are now in emergency transmission mode". They go away when I restart the vehicle. The list goes on and on. Stay away from the Tiguan!

I really like the Vehicle, but I have a lot to learn with all of this modern technology. Iff you live within 100 miles of Asheville NC I would highly recommend VW of Asheville (Harmony Motors). I received a fair deal on the VW Tiguan, and a fair trade in on my Mercedes. I like the comfort of German engineering.

The best SUV I have owned yet. The tech in this vehicle blows all others except Tesla away. It rides smoothly and the moonroof is illuminated so it’s great at night. Gas mileage is average. The Bluetooth is reliable as well as the voice commands.

Overall love the vehicle. However, the radio / Sirius has been spotty. When my husband uses his key fob it seems to always reset his preferences. This is annoying. Also, the blindside warning stopped working recently. I plan on calling the service department and am sure it will be remedied.

The cost vs quality of materials. Seems VW could of done better with interior on doors. Counsel box very small. Engine compartment solid. Still have concerns being made in Mexico vs Atlas built in USA. ** Could you please help me receive your $250 incentive coupon Edmunds e mailed to me? I would be very grateful to you.
