Used 2006 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5 4dr Sedan (2.5L 5cyl 6A) Consumer Reviews
Never buy a VW Again!
Car had problems from day one. Engine noise etc. Cheap made switches. This was my forth VW and last. Worst customer service in the industry. $89 oil change is ubsurd for a VW.
Want to love my Jetta, but...
I chose the Jetta from a very short list. I actually wanted a Hybrid very much since. However, when I drove the Jetta, I just fell in love with it's handling, interior room and massive trunk size [the Soprano's would get trunk-envy here]. Sadly, along the road a long list of annoyances has cause me to rethink my relationship with VW. Here is the list: - Sunroof - sometimes closes improperly, propped up in vent position - Interior plastics - bubble and peel - Trunk release - stopped working and then once 'fixed' still not working - Service guys thought I was crazy for 1] having so many issues and 2] for expecting them to be fixed 1st time. - Service creating more issues during fix

Problems with 2006 Jetta
Bought this car brand new from the dealership and had no problems until the warranty period was expiring. Had several major parts replaced under warranty. Main seal leak in engine. Main wiring harness in drivers door caused major electrical problems. Headliner is falling down and interior buttons on radio are peeling.
great car but paint..
i love this car. i got indash gps. i also go 4 12 inch subs. fully loaded package 2. but the only thing i had is the paint. i got a black jetta. but the paint is just horrible after driving it. i just will have to get it buffed. i just worry that it wont make it worse.
2005 Jetta
Not much power from the 5-cylinder motor when compared against comporably priced cars, but a more sophisticated and expensive looking and feeling interior. It is annoying that the car forces both driver and passenger to put a seatbelt on or it keeps beeping.
