Used 2014 Volkswagen CC Consumer Reviews
Great Car, except -- occasionally an annoyance
There are only 2 things I do not like about my VW CC. First is that the check engine light keeps lighting up. Second, is that the tire pressure lights come on when the weather is very warm and/or we change altitude when operating the vehicle. The second item has been true of my last three VW's, so 3 out of 9 Passat's I've owned since the middle 1980's isn't bad I guess. It's just annoying that I then have to find a gas station/convenience store, spend a $$ and check the tire pressure for a real reading at my then current location.

POS in nice skin
It's a money pit. Talk about high maintainance German cars. Have to replace the tires every 30K miles. Water pump went out at 60K. Oil leak at tensioner at 65K miles. Rear break pads wearing out before fronts. Each of those cost me over $1K a pop. Not good for a $35K vehicle when purchased new. Long time ago, I had a 1980 Datsun 510, carburator, manual. It went to 200K miles with oil changes only. Think the Germans have learned how to make reliable cars? They have not. They have learned very well how to drain your bank account. And for reference, I've had a BMW Z3 and A Mercedez C240. Same high maintainance POS in pretty skin.

Lemmon
Bought a 2013 Certified Pre-owned back in 2015. 2 years layer it cant even pass inspection due to the faulty intake manifold that has been a problem on many volkswagens with the 2.0 turbo motor. My CPO warranty just expired last month and volkswagen wont even cover this part. I am going back to BMW as the volkswagen symbol is tarnished too bad to recover with me.

Such a sour lemon!
My 2013 Volkswagen CC is the worst car I have ever owned. In just 40,000 miles I have had ever problem possible with this car. First the clutch on the manual transmission burned out within 24 hours of driving off the lot. (I have 20 years of experience driving manual never burned one clutch) Then this thing with the motor and the EPC warning. (was covered by a recall but not anymore) Then the trunk pops open whenever I put the car in reverse. Finally the adaptive headlight just stopped working today. Going back to BMW. I will do whatever I can to prevent anyone I know from buying a VW lemon in the future. I still think this car was very bad and I would never buy it again. I would do everything in my power to prevent anyone in my family from buying this sad car.
