2021 Hyundai Santa Fe
I bought the car out of a need for a car. (SEL with convenience package) The technology it had, made me so excited that I purchased it without really doing research. I only had the car for 2 months before I traded it in. There is a TON of technology in this car. The hands free/no kicking tailgate was probably my favorite feature. Very convenient when hands are full. The adaptive cruise … control worked without being to annoying, wireless apple car play (when it worked) was neat as well. The wireless charger only worked for the first two days then stopped, I could not get a replacement because it was "to new".
Where I felt the car really fell short was the build quality. The outside handles became so lose that trying to open the doors normally would not work. (Had to hold the door and gently pull the handle. Again no fix). Oh and the sensors in the handle to unlock the doors worked 80% of the time. The door panels would squeak and rattle over any little bump. The passenger seat is ridiculously low that it cause my spouse and I to have back pain if we were in the car longer than a hour. My kids were always complaining that they were to hot because it could never cool down enough.
We have a V6 2017 Santa FE and that one is built better than the 2021. The MSRP on that car was about $32,000 and change but it felt like a $13,000 old car. I wouldn't recommend it, if you in the market for a similar size car, I'd consider something else.
