Major Issue- Loss of Trailer Brakes Driving

2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD
I will start this review with, overall I LOVE MY TRUCK. This is my THIRD truck since 2020. HOWEVER, on the 2024 the trailer brake control system is worthless/dangerous and GM has STILL not fixed the trailer connector locations between the bumper and the bed. I am currently stranded in Tennessee with my trailer and my horses because the trailer brake controller is malfunctioning…for the … SECOND TIME. This issue was addressed at 500 miles and fixed. When I pulled a different trailer the other day it went haywire again and I am getting “Check Trailer Wiring” and “Trailer Brake Connected” Trailer Brake Disconnected” messages EVEN WITH NO TRAILER ATTACHED! GM NEEDS TO FIX THIS ISSUE or someone is going to get in an accident because it drops brakes without notice while underway. I will stress that each of the trailers I have pulled work FINE on other trucks, including my 2022 3500. HELP GM!
