Not why I bought a toyota!
I bought it new. Every body bushing was installed upside down and had to be replaced at 1100 miles. At 7500 miles the left axle seal blew out and soaked the brakes. At 15500 miles the transmission had failure. Junk trade it in and moved on.

TRD is great if you never go off-road.
Less than 1,000 miles. 1st time off-road on a dirt track, blind spot monitors failed, ABS failed, traction control failed, 4wd selector jammed. Back to the dealer. Happened over and over. Endless electrical problems combined with 16 miles per gallon. I have had six Tacoma’s dating back to 1994. Feels like they have just added electronics with worse and worse reliability and worse and worse mileage. If they do an overhaul, happily look at the new one but until the engine and driveline isn’t antiquated I’m out.

Stayed with Toyota #6
I looked at another Tundra Limited Crewmax, but no longer have the need for a big truck. The Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 Double cab Long Bed with leather, moonroof, JBL and hard tonneau cover gives me everything I had with the Tundra and the mileage is much better and it’s still a true truck. I looked at the Honda Ridgeline too, but it is not a true truck. Looks won’t get the job done when you really need it. Very happy with my purchase. Been with Toyota for many years and never looking back. This is #6. Also the new 2022 Tundra is even larger than the current model. Not necessary for me. Note: The trim name listed should say 6.1 LB for Long Bed, not SB. (Edmunds Error needs fixed)
