Used 2020 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab Consumer Reviews
Love it
Great vehicle, great gas mileage, and great ride.
Short cuts, don't get what you pay for
In 2020 model Toyota cut many features off the trd pro...also the safety features only work part of time. Have not ever experienced this before with Ford. The sensors ARE NOT reliable !!!!!

Pickup truck with inside cargo area
The back seats fold down after headrest are removed and creates a nice hard surface for cargo. I put the middle headrest in the house and the other two in the tray behind the backseat just in case I need to carry people.

My Tacoma
If you’re looking for a truck that dependable and good on gas and is durable this would be the truck for you. The only thing I don’t like is the passenger section is tight and the bed could be smaller, otherwise you would have to find a Tacoma that is a double cab but with a 6 foot bed.
Cement Tacoma SR5
Great truck so far. The only issue I have is with the fuel mileage. Wish it was a bit better!

The real deal
My taco is awesome and I have not stopped thinking about it ever since I brought it home. We share a real bond together and I look forward to a long-standing relationship. Update:. 7 months and 5k miles later no issues to report.

Great pickup truck
Strong solid vehicle, reliable and fun to drive
Long time Tacoma owner, finally went TRD Pro!
UPDATE: I've had my TRD Pro now for 16 months. I've put 20,000 miles on it, and have been offroading very regularly all over Utah including places like Little Moab and Devils's Racetrack. Tough Truck, with great comfort getting to the offroad site, and fun and capable offroad (front bumper winch, factory TRD Pro Lift at purchase, rock sliders, and 33s on rims with 0 offset). The truk is incredible and I have no regrets, but there are a couple items worth mentioning. 1 the dealer has twice had to replace the 4WD engaging solenoid (Once it wouldn't let me in to 4WD the other time it wouldn't let me out). 2- the gearing seems a bit off to me even when I'm running the stock tires. The ower in first gear and reverse is poor, and when on a mild hill trying to go slow, is poor (yes I know 4 low is tremendous, but I'm not talking about offroading here.) Overall though, still incredibly pleased, and happy with my choice...and that suspension...so amazing! ORIGINAL: Just purchased my 4th Tacoma, but my first first TRD Pro trim (4 months ago). I love off roading, and have always had a TRD Offroad, but when I wanted to go fast on a washboard road, that offroad suspension would just beat my family up! Within a week of buying the Pro we were flying down Hole In The Rock Road and wondering if the Pro suspension was really that superior or if they had smoothed out the road! It was amazing! Yes, the Pro is worth it. Still all the reliability and amazing tacoma features that give you automation when you want it, but control when you want it 9brights, lights, climate control, 4wd, etc...). I test drove one with the crawl control feature and hated it, but my manual transmission, crawled right down a 30 degree hill in 4Low1 without brakes.

Not Sure
I got my 2020 SR5 in July. I have had to take it back 4 times so far due to the jerking while in between gears. It is actually at the dealership now. I love the way the truck looks, the features and the comfort. I had wanted a tacoma forever and when I turned 40 I thought what the heck but now Im not so sure. I hope they can fix it but if not I will have make a decision on what I will do next So they said the jerking can be normal, I have also talked to several others and they said their trucks do it too. What I don't like is there is a loud knocking noise coming from the drivers side that is super embarrassing especially at a drive thru. I have had it at the dealership since the second day I had it with the noise and they told me it was the fuel injection but the last time I had it serviced it was the oil pressure. I plan on talking to the service manager when I go back because apparently their not sure what they are talking about.
