Used 2019 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab Consumer Reviews
2019 Toy Taco
I've only had it for 3 days with under 200 miles on the clock so I guess this will be an "initial quality" review. I will do my review with a scoring system, 1 through 5 stars, 5 being the best. Styling-5, performance-4, MPGs-4, fit & finish-4, interior quality-5, seat comfort-3, user friendly-5. The Ford Ranger beats this Tacoma in every category and offers more for the same money but it looks like my grandpa's truck. The resale value I see as a wash because you'll pay more for the Toyota up front so it should bring more at the resale level. That's the best I can give you with 3 days of ownership (Update, nearly 3 years later) It needs it's 3 rear differential (never been off road) both front door windows rattle, rear springs bottom out with little load, transmission (auto) is the worst I've had in 42 years of driving. Owning and selling are the two best days of this "truck" for me. It did however bring a lot of money when I traded it in. Bought a 2022 Honda Passport

grandpa
bought my with 17k plus, seems like someone only had it for 11 months. But must have put it through the grinder. Have it for 3 months now, can only say it is the must comfortable, smooth and nice truck I have ever had. Wife loves it also, gas mileage is kind of like 18 to 19 miles per gallon. We really do not care about that it is just fun to have, thou is as a small bed, us being in our 60's go out and get a load of wood now and then, fishing or just go 4 wheeling is awesome. This is most likely the last truck we ever own....Just LOVE IT all together.

Tacoma Limited is Fantastic!
Traded in our 2017 Tacoma Sport for a 2019 Tacoma Limited because I wanted to get all the new safety systems. Wow! What a difference. The Limited is smoother, quieter, AC works better, the transmission has smoother shifts, stereo is way better, and the seats are much more comfortable. It is a truck but it definitely a great ride in town and on the highway. It definitely feels a little bit like my Lexus. I'm not sure if our Sport had flaws or the Limited trim is just far better. Either way, I am extremely satisfied. If you are looking at a Tacoma make sure to check out the Limited model.
Great truck, well optioned.
Just purchased this truck this week. I am very impressed with the build quality and resale values. This is my third Toyota after 30 plus years of the big three and several lemons in a row. No more upside down!! I have not been disappointed with my previous Highlander and Corolla, but needed a truck so decided on the Taco. Fit and finish are impressive. This is the SR with crew cab, V6 and 4x4. It is not the fancier versions but is still impressively quipped. It handles very well, is super quiet and looks great!! I chose this one since it is the last year before the redesign and I was able to get the numbers that I wanted. I intend on keeping it as long as possible. I can't wait to tow my camper this season with it!!
