Used 2019 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab Consumer Reviews
Satisfied. No surprises.
Have had my 2019 Tacoma for about 3 months & 2500 miles. No disappointments so far. Traded in a 2012 Ram Laramie Longhorn. Didn't expect the Toyota to be as powerful, quiet, and comfortable as the Ram, and it's not, but it's still what I expected......a rugged 4wd compact truck. No regrets. Update. 3yrs & 15000 miles. Couple of recalls, no other issues. Would buy another.

Luv the taco truck
Everyone is complaining about the 4 cylinder engine. I have no problems with it. I am happy with how it performs. If I wanted a race car I would have bought one. The truck works fine for me. Can't go wrong with the Tacoma.

I've tried to kill this truck. And have failed.
2019 4 door A/T SR5 3.5l 4WD, stock suspension and tires. 10,100k as of today. I'll admit, I drive like a bat out of hell on 4x4 trails. 23% grade in 2 wheel drive and it handled it fine in summer weather. It's also my daily commuter. Ticks me off there's no ashtray, so I put my own in. Enough horsepower to get up an 18% grade on a local major highway at 65+/hr without a sneeze. I've hauled other vehicles up to the top of roads that have broken down or gotten stuck with it (Jeep drivers.... LOL.). Have owned exclusively Yotas for 8 years now. I'm aware of the Otto/Atkinson engine and it does take about 1.5 seconds of having the gas pedal on the floor to react, but once it's calculated nothing stops it. I will say it's often very cold up here, and the double oil cooler means it takes the engine 18+ minutes to get warm enough to send hot steady air, so get an ice scraper. If there was a sensor connected to engine temp that only cycled the oil through the double cooler system when the engine is already warm, that would help dearly with this. My kids and dog love the 4 doors, plenty of cab room for at least what I have to do in the truck (drive in it). Bells and whistles I really don't care. It's all about the engine, transmission, suspension, and drive train for this one. Haven't had a single issue yet. GO YOTA!

Sr5 work truck!
I got the 2019 tacoma sr5 double cab 4x4 recently after driving a ford e150 for five hundred years.. Imo A driver 5' 5" to 6' would be ideal due to limited seating udjustment. Drivers outside this height range would find this truck uncomfortable.. The v6 auto trans is awesome if youre a defensive driver just going about your everyday bussiness hauling and towing along "working".. If you want a dragster type of toy.. Srry kid this not for you.. There are far better trucks to get if youre playing.. If you are investing on a work truck thatll get you work and back home with the least hastle for many years then this is your work truck sir! ( atleast according to history)..
Great vehicle!!
I have 3,000 miles on it now (2019 TRD 4X4 Sport). I love it!! When not in a rush on two lane roads running 60 I have gotten up to 26 mpg! Very quiet running and a comfortable ride. There could be a little more room inside but I'm 6'1" and 250 so it's not too bad. I've not experienced any of the vibration issues or shifting issues. Power is decent but not like the Tundra 5.7 I had before. My understanding is there is a fix for it now. All in all it has surpassed my expectations in every category. Oh yes! It performs well off road too.
