Read all the reviews you want .... but if you are going outdoors .... you must be nimble .... reliable ..... maneuverable the Tacoma fits this description. Yes, you can find more comfortable rides .. with more bells and whistles .. but if you are going camping, biking, hiking, or fishing, the vehicle you take should not even be a preparatory consideration ...... and the Tacoma fits this requirement .... it was made for outdoors and dependability .... I would never buy anything else. Update. It is so practical for my uses. I needed a 4x4 for kayak, biking, fishing. Works prefect. And looks awesome 👌. I like this truck even more after looking at the 2016s. I just can't get used to the new design. Too much gingerbread.

If you're looking for a very reliable vehicle that holds it's value, this is the truck for you. It has great towing capacity, it's comfortable, great off road, looks great, and is built with quality parts. Great off road following, so it is easy to find aftermarket parts to swap out. Easy to fit larger tires, always gets descent fairly reliable gas mileage.

Proof of safety!

My husband and I got in a wreck tonight. We hydroplaned and I saw the guard rail outside my window. It hit my door straight on. We were going the speed limit but it was raining hard. I thought I was about to die. The rail hit the frame of the truck. I don't have a scratch on me. I just wanted people to know how safe this vehicle is. I wanted to attach a photo but I don't see a way to do that.

I wanted a vehicle that was trendy and dependable. I live where the snow gets deep and a four-wheel truck was the answer. I can haul my garden stuff or whatever I need. The size of the truck is excellent for me, not too big or too small for my driveway and parking. It is a fun truck and the compliments are always! I keep my truck clean and shiny and wherever I go people tell me what a value this truck has for trade in, but I shall not be doing that anytime soon. I have had no problems with my truck and keep maintenance update at my local Toyota Dealership. I love my truck!

Sound System

2015 Toyota Tacoma V6 4dr Access Cab 4WD 6.1 ft. SB (4.0L 6cyl 5A)

The ETune system might sound better if they didn't remove the rear Access door speakers. I have owned five [5] other Tacomas and this is by far the worst sounding radio I have had in any of them. They took out the rear [Access] door speakers and replaced them with two tweeters in the headliner over your head. There is very little bass when you fade to the rear you need to turn up the volume all the way to even here them. I showed this to the dealer and they are helping me with Toyota to see if they will exchange the inside door panels from an older model, which will fit, that have the perforations for the speaker sound to enter the cab. I will take care of putting in the speakers. After talking to Toyota and them telling me that I shouldn't have purchased it, I am very happy with my 2016 Ford F150 Lariet. NO more Toyota for me. Thay don't care about the customer.
