Used 2005 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab Consumer Reviews
Tough to beat
I purchased this truck for a work vehicle, I pull trailers, tow tractors, and in general work it like a big dog. It is tough to beat, and I practically have moved my office into the truck, the elec outlet in the bed has been a blessing. Toyota outdid themselves on this!
A Better Tacoma
I had a 1999 Tacoma and the 2005 is a much nicer truck in every respect. I am very happy with it so far. It has more power, more room, and a much nicer interior than the '99. The ride is very car like and the handling is very good. I got 24 mpg on the first tank of gas. The transmission shifts very smoothly and the brakes are strong. The composite box and movable tie down anchors are a very well done.

Another Tacoma
This truck rides better, handles better, than my last (96 with 137,000- no problems). I have the 4cyl, manual, extended, SR5 package, etc. Still Low miles, but I got 28.4 mpg on a recent 200 mile trip. I don't pull or haul much, ATV on a trailer, but this 4cyl has all the power I need, with reasonably good acceleration, and great gas mileage.
Woman who loves her Tacoma!
I purchased my certified used Tacoma in October '06 after a Denver snowstorm left me unable to exit my driveway w/my current car. I've wanted one of these trucks since I was 15 (I'm 41 now). It's been the best decision I ever made (besides divorcing my husband!). This truck handles so well, has so much power and is so fun to drive, I only wish I'd bought one sooner! Gas mileage isn't bad either. I really am a woman who loves her Tacoma!
The Leader
This is an outstanding vehicle. It is far superior in quality and design than other trucks in its class. I have owned several trucks and Toyota has always been the top in its class.
