Used 2005 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab Consumer Reviews
'05 tacoma TRD sport 4x4
I've always wanted a tacoma and I'm sure I picked the best tacoma yet! With its outstanding reputation, I can't wait to drive it for years to come. It's a great truck!
Awesome Truck
This is my 5th truck and I couldn't be happier with the vehicle. The wider body, fuel economy, and tow capacity make it an excellent compromise to a full size pickup. It offers all of the creature comforts and handles like a car in town. The TRD package with locking differential make it a capable off road vehicle. Performance is surprisingly strong even at altitudes above 10,000 feet.

My 21st vehicle
I buy vehicles more than some people change socks. This is my 21st new vehicle (between me & wife) that I've purchased. I have owned pretty much every make truck, with Chevy being the worst, and Toyota being the best. This new style Tacoma caught my eye, and after driving one I had to have it. The power of the 6 cylinder is more than sufficient for this truck. The interior is quiet, well organized, and spacious. It is comfortable and well designed. I have found Toyota manufactures a quality vehicle and this truck is no exception. I would definitely reccommend this truck to others.
New Toy on Road
A woman who's never owned a truck before had little to compare her new toy with. Though she drove in many trucks and really disliked them. Most of them felt like a truck. Bouncy and uncomfortable. But the new 2005 Toyota Tacoma comfort is more like riding in a car. Could be because of the new suspension this year. The 4 wheel drive is automatic and that is a plus for us women. Had a guy from work check it out and he is impressed with the horsepower and the V6 4.0L engine. So this truck is a plus for men too. Can't wait until the engine is broke in to go playing. Check it out!!!
Truck Bed
I love my truck but i have one problem, no lumber rack will fit on the new tacoma! want to know why? the new composit bed. Rack-It from SS CA, told me the bed will crak and fail. So what to do now? Like i said for hauling everyday dirt and small toys not a prob, but for get the avid weekend do-it yourselfer fenceing projects and long timber runs to lowes or home depot.
