New 2005 Tacoma owner
We traded in our 2000 Tacoma on the new 2005. The differences are dramatic. Larger & more comfortable cabin particularly the new seats are very much appreciated. The ride is much improved, even with the TRD pkg. The rear doors are a big improvement. The new 6-cylinder engine really gets out and moves this truck. Its too new to give much info on fuel economy, but on paper it gets nearly the same as our 2000 Pre-runner w/a 4 cylinder. The one thing that I do miss is the grab handle above the passengers door. Its a very sharp looking truck !!
a girl who loves her truck!
I previously owned a Toyota Corolla Type S and I felt it was time to upgrade to something more my style and the new Tacoma if a perfect fit for me. Although it isn't as fuel efficient as my old car but over all it is is pretty good for a truck. It has a smooth ride on any terrain and it just an over all great machine to drive. I LOVE IT!

Tacoma Rules
I have driven and owned several trucks. The Tacoma is the best so far. Solid, reliable and sporty looking too !
A really great truck
I purchase this vehicle on April 30, 2005. As of this date (5/15/05) I have driven it 805 miles. I have enjoyed it throughly. This is a really great truck and I didn't think I would like it in the Red but I have to say, I like this truck in red. The access cab is a nice feature, it has plently of storage space. And as others have said this truck is ready to "load and go" from the dealers lot. Purchase one, you will not be disappointed.
