Scored a RAV4!

Terrific safety features, great pickup, good sound system and interactivity, and very very comfortable to drive. Great maneuverability and glad this one has heated seats, a power liftgate, auto lights with the feature where the highbeams are on but turn off whenever oncoming traffic approaches.

The car is garbage on skinny wheels

The passenger seat is as awful as the reviews say and the rear hatch area has more rattles than an 80s Chevy S10 Blazer. In comparison to my 2019 Corolla Hatchback this car is a complete disappointment and besmirches the once great Toyota name. They are now like Tesla in that they care only about profits and are happy to produce low quality, poorly built vehicles. The driving experience doesn't get much better because the wind noise is absurd, it's top heavy as hell and rides pretty rough considering the thick but skinny tires. Fog lights deleted for 2024 on the XLE? WTAF? The transmission shifts like an idiot and worries me that it's going to meet the same lemon law fate a lot of Camry's are for that very transmission problem. The dealership experience is no better this time around. The sales guy was absolutely GROSS and slimy and proves that the dealer only cares about one thing; get 'em in, get'em out! Same with the service, if they can't BILK you for every penny in your savings account then you and your car do not matter one tiny bit. They'll "fix" your concern then give you back a car that has more issues and rattles than it did before you brought it in there. If you have to buy a Toyota only buy one that was built in Japan but beware that the quality has likely taken as deep a dive as the styling has. It has been such a shame to so quickly fall in love with the brand after being a lifelong loyal fan to GM who never EVER did me like this. I can not wait to be rid of this car, and my beloved Toyota, so my driveway can be exclusively GM once again.

Get the Lexus instead

I went car shopping with every intent to buy the Rav 4, but immediately after sitting in it, I felt it was cheap and plastic. I didn’t buy it. I bought the Crown Signia, very nicely appointed car. I think if you want something like the Rav 4, look at the Lexus NX instead.

I have a 2024 RAV4 XLe and been driving driving for about a month. I see nothing wrong with car. it’s not a race car but acceleration is fine for me to pass on the highways. I feel it’s comfortable smooth riding steering is good and has everything I need. I love it.

I have Leased several Toyota vehicles over the years, even a RAV4 years ago. They were more roomy. Totally disappointed in this vehicle. Leased RAV4 LE in June 2024. Driver seat doesn't go back far enough so your legs feel cramped in. The passenger seat goes back farther than drivers. Getting in and out of vehicle. If you are a relatively shorter person no problem. The average person in height and weight has issues. You have to bend your head and duck to get in or you will hit your head. Getting hit in the head sure doesn't feel good. The hand grips too far back. Not enough cup holders and the ones in this vehicle are too small. Could have 4 in front if design was better. The side door pocketholder compartments only hold cans. Can't put pop bottles or coffee cups even to go cups cannot fit. Ugh. Cannot adjust A/C vents properly. Poorly designed. Vehicle jumps/jerks ahead when idle. My Tacoma was perfect but too expensive to buy or lease. Hope somebody listens to these reviews and takes action. Toyota won't take it back or work with you about any of this. I'll never get another RAV4. Considering looking next time at other makes/models of vehicles.
