Used 2007 Toyota RAV4 Consumer Reviews
Pleasant, Reliable SUV
Tried out a Honda CR-V before purchasing this one, but didn't care for the interior (especially the door handles), and the RAV-4 got better mileage. Didn't go with all the options, although I couldn't find one without tinted windows, luggage cover, and 6-disc CD player; I refused to buy it and pay for all those unnecessary items.
VVT OIL hose Failure. Engine replacement
Just like the post from Deb on 05/05/2009, last month my 2007 Toyota rav 4 with v6 and 38,000 kms had its vvt hose break spraying oil in engine compartment but no engine light came on. Caused engine failure. Had to replace the engine - wasn't easy but they did it under warranty after pushing them hard.

2007 Toyota RAV4
The first things that appealed to me were the styling and pricing for the Limited. At first glance, the interior looks well-designed and human-factored. It is overly plastic though, and that detracts greatly from the quality one would expect in a Toyota product. This RAV provides a great ride and good handling. At the bottom of the list of features, and this comes at a bad time, is gas mileage. I'm getting right at 20 mpg with a four cyl. engine around town. Six bangers can do much better than that!
New RAV4
Just took my RAV4 camping last weekend. Lots of room. It performed well in rain and hail. A/C can't keep up with 100 plus degree heat. I like the styling and love the blue color.

I'm very impressed with the V6 engine. This thing just takes off! I love the looks of it. Of course there are a few things here and there that can be a bit better, but overall, I love this SUV more and more everyday! I just sat in an 07 4Runner today, I swear the RAV4 has more rear legroom than the 4Runner!
