Used 2007 Toyota RAV4 Consumer Reviews
Owned 14 months: 3.5 L, V6, VVT-i spd
I needed a four-wheel drive vehicle for the mountains. I've had not a single problem with this Rav4 2007 Basic. Seats fold in 60 sec to load it with firewood. It handles well on mountain snow. It does not die, or gear struggle, on steep roads, loaded with equipment and four passengers. Downhill, the steep-grade feature nicely paces the vehicle without your active acceleration. The Basic has standard features such as cruise control, vehicle stability control, traction control, 4WD on demand - superior features for the Catskill Mountains. It's a quality vehicle.
2007 Toyota Rav (3.5L 6cyl 5A)
I bought this car a few months back, and have been very pleased with the purchase. The fuel economy has been good, ride is comfortable, and interior is fantastic. The V6 has amazing power that will blow you away. You really have to watch yourself when you start off. There is plenty of room in the backseat for guest, and lots of cargo area for your gear. I have a small trailer I pull from time to time, and the Rav does a fine job with that too.

Very Happy w/black RAV4 Limited!
It's mainly for my wife, who loves it! We wanted at least one vehicle w/AWD for bad weather. For the money, we feel we have a lot of options and quality... tinted windows, fog lights, dual air, all the latest safety from airbags to traction control, controls on the wheel, iPod connection, power sunroof, etc. It looks great and the interior feels good, Toyota got it right with this model.
My RAV
Great Toyota. Very functional and perfomance is super and gets 23 mpg. nothing but oil changes first 18000 miles. Very good quality for the price.
Great SUV!
I have owned various 4WD SUVs since 1990 and to date this is the best overall. Fit and finish is outstanding, great ride, a real fun vehicle to drive. We looked at the 2007 Santa Fe and 2007 CR-V and the RAV4 wins on all most all features. The jury is still out on the 4WD.. Need to drive in some Sierra snow. We lived in Western New York State for 35 years, we still value 4WD.
