Almost the perfect vehicle

Can't argue with gobs of V6 power and 27 mpg. I've driven from FL to CO and back 2 times - no problems pulling 16-20 hours at a time in the saddle. JBL sound w/ subwoofer is awesome. Back seat is cavernous and comfortable. Love the reclining seats. The full size spare allowed me to get off a mountain pass after ruining a tire on a rock hidden in the snow. Try doing that with a donut spare. Downhill assist is a lifesaver on snowy, steep grades. I don't like the lousy 4WD system. Above 25 mph you have 2WD. If you lose traction you are on your own, even though there is a 4WD system that could help you out. I also hate the Sport's ridiculous harsh ride. Get the Limited for the softer suspension

This is a company vehicle and I could not be happier. Toyota has really thought about this vehicle and it shows. The ride is comfortable and quiet. The handling is quick and sure-footed. The sound system is superb. I love the Bluetooth and I am on the phone a lot! I would recommend this vehicle to anyone who needs a small SUV with a big feel. The fold flat seats from the back door is a great feature. This is a GREAT vehicle!

Excellent Midsize SUV

Test drove the 4wd and 2wd versions and after all was said and done the 2wd sold me. It was just smoother and felt more precise. When you live in socal you dont really need 4wd I guess. Overall quality, performance, and build is just superior for a car that is just under $30k. No issues with noise, rattling, comfort, or performance. I also have a 2005 4Runner and this RAV4 totally beats it hands down! I'm selling my 4Runner tomorrow!

I have had my car for more than four months yet I get the same feelings I had initially when I first test drove it. It is a comfortable and smooth ride. I have no regrets and look forward to a long and rich driving experience.

I upgraded from a well-loved Matrix, mainly because I needed the extra space for dogs and teenage nieces/nephews. I've only had the car 2 weeks but so far it is wonderful! Aside from mpg, it definitely is living up to expectations! The vehicle stability control makes it more controllable in a crosswind than my Matrix.
