Used 2003 Toyota RAV4 Consumer Reviews
It's a big Corolla!
Priorities for this car: Reliability, Reliability, and overall usefulness. Toyota wins hands down in the first two. Almost bought an Escape, but read Consumer Reports and changed my mind. Automatic was a must because of all the phone, food, map juggling, etc. Although a solid shifter, it is a poor match for the engine. Mileage is only fair (23 mpg). Ride and noise is comparable to a compact car. Back seats are very versatile. Lots of neat little compartments. Easy entry for 200 lb 6' guy. Steering wheel placement is a little off. Either my legs are too long or my arms are too short. Nice runaround car. I love it!
Great Little SUV
Flat out - Great Quality Car. Very easy to drive, great fuel economy compared to other SUVs, and the fact that it's a Toyota says a lot. Engine is quiet and heats up quickly in cold conditions. And, the price is very comparable when it comes to an SUV. Very fun to drive in the city and handles great on the interstate.

Some comprimise
Choosing looks over power is a comprimise you have to be willing to make.
Great Car
Really suprised by the comfort and handling of nour Rav 4. It fits the whole family perfectly. 4 different drivers, 4 really different size people, and no matter who drives or sits where, it's comfortable. It could use better gas milage. But it has been a dream to own!
rav4 gal
I waited years to finally get this SUV and i did and i love it. It got me thru horrible winters this years. I just love this fun car. I will probably get another rav4 when i am done making the payments on this one. I really love it.
