Used 2004 Toyota Prius Consumer Reviews
Incredible Car
After test driving the Prius, I realized that this was the car that I wanted. It's fun and inexpensive to drive. We drove it to Richmond from Charlotte and got 50+ miles/gallon and it handled beautifully. I have only owned it for three (3) weeks, but have found nothing about it that I don't like. Even my wife, who is has back problems, finds it comfortable. I hope Toyota or Lexus will put this engine into one of their SUV's soon. Thank you.
good at the pump
Just got my Prius, and it's fun to drive and easy at the gas pump. Getting 51 miles a gal. on my drive to work, that's just great.

2004 Prius - A Joy to drive
As a 74 year old adult who has always considered cars as tools to get from one place to the next as quickly and painlessly as possible, I have fallen in love with my 2004 Prius. I now look for any possible excuse to get in it and drive somewhere -- anywhere. This is a new, exciting experience for me late in life.
The Future Today In A Prius!
I get giddy when people ask about this amazing hybrid car. It simply delivers like no other car. It does all you ask of it and leaves you with smiles & pride in your selection of a new car. Now with 95K miles after over 5 yrs it stands all the tests that other cars cannot. Now, with only a replacement of an hd lt bulb, I look back and realize what dependability is all about. I've saved over $10,000 in gas compared to my SUV I once had. What's even better is that my car looks just like an '09 Prius. This is the car of the future today.
New but excited
We have had it only one week, but love it so far. It handles very well and has plenty of power (although power is a relative thing, and it's always fun to have more). The gas mileage is great although I don't think it will ever be close to the 60 mpg in town that it's rated. We have it loaded, so the Navigation system, cell phone through the car system, controls on the steering wheel etc., are lots of fun, and work well. We haven't needed to use the vehicle skid control yet. I'm looking forward to owning a hybrid van.
