Just wow. This is the only vehicle I bought new, as a female driver, I was thinking maybe they built trucks better lol so that was the reason I bought it. My gosh, this truck has only left me stranded ONE time in 30 years. I've recently been putting work into it after basically only oil changes and tires for so many years. I'm older now and need power steering, but I want my Baby T 😄 to go to someone who will really appreciate it! One time I read something that said, ' if everything could be as dependable as my dog & my truck '!! Indeed. And if Charlotte got up in the old barn and weaved a description of the 1994 Toyota 22RE pickup, she would weave : SOME TRUCK!...... Thank you, Toyota.💜❤️

The 94 unbreakable beast.

This 3.0 V6 engine is unbreakable. My sister bought this 4X4. Vehicle at the end of 93. She drove it 150,00 miles and gave it to me in 2016. I did some repairs like front suspension, the leaf spring shackles and shocks. Threw some new 31-inch tires on there and power steering pump. With that 456 rear differential, this thing is a beast in the mud snow and any other kind of terrain. Long live Toyotas.

280K Miles and Still Going Strong!

My dad bought this truck brand new in 1994 as a business vehicle, so it is just pretty basic transportation - nothing fancy. He gave it to me about 8 years ago and the truck now has nearly 300K miles on it. A few years ago I had to replace the transmission (a hose leak that caused me to stall when I lost the fluid along I-95) but other than that, it's just been tires, brake pads and battery when needed. It isn't the most beautiful thing in the world, but it has been so reliable, it's paid for and cheap to insure that I will drive it until it can't go any more.

I bought this standard truck new 1994. Never ever had any issues. I just had to have the thermostat replaced when our weather hit -10 degrees. The mechanic could not believe I still had the original one. This car won't die! How can I not keep it?! Now with the price of gas, it's great to have.

3 Engines, 118,000 miles

I bought this truck after it had a new engine put in it at 112,000. I assumed that it would would be reliable, Wrong! I had to get a brand new $4,000 engine! After spending $4250 on the truck in the first place. This truck is very slow, you have to push the engine every time you accelerate from a stop light just to keep up with traffic!
