I love mine
I bought mine off of ebay, and it needed work right off that the guy neglected to tell me about. After getting the work done by my husband, I have to say I love this SUV. It has tons of rust underneath being originally from OH but even so, it hasn't let me down for a minute. My husband wants it for himself but it's mine and I plan to run it to 400K hopefully. Nothing beats no car payments.
What Else Do You Want?
This is my first Land Cruiser, and I researched months before choosing it. Bought it as a Toyota-Certified w/ 50K miles on it, perfect condition, and paid barely over half of the cost of the original price when brand new. Other than the compromise in mileage as a full-sized SUV, this thing is as close to perfect as it gets. Any premium in price is totally justified in the performance, ride, luxury, and quality. If you're shopping, just stop right now, buck up, and get the best there is - the Land Cruiser is as good as it gets.
best I've had
I've had almost 20 cars since I started driving almost 30 years ago, including BMW 5 series, 2 different Mercedes and an number of others, but this has been by far the best I've had. The comfort, the ride, the anti-snob factor (compared to those who pay extra for the Lexus), the solid feel and the reliability have all been a joy. Very few things I would improve - the only one that comes to mind is the sound system. It pales compared to the Infiniti system in my Mitsubishi Montero, but the rest of the pluses overcome this one disappointment. Def. recommend checking one out if you're in the market.
Best on the road
Have owned this vehicle for two years and I could not be happier with my purchase, ride is smooth, off rode ride confort is incredable this is definetly not a JEEP, my kidneys thank me every time. Engine reliability is what you would expect from a toyota, and many of the bells and whistles inside also. The power of the V8 pulls my 5000lb boat without any problems even uphill.
Land Cruisers Live-up to their Name
I bought this vehicle used with around 50,000 miles. I now have 94,000 miles and it is almost as good as new. The only repairs that I have had to make were: re-painting of the rear spoiler and roof rack (it faded), the replacement of the starter which went out around 70K (not so unusual) and the cup-holder cover broke on the center console. I have owned Toyotas since 94 and will continue to do so. The exterior paint looks as good as new even after 6 years in the California sun! (I do wax it once a month though.) I highly recommend the Land Cruiser.
my nicest vehicle ever
We just purchased this vehicle and love it!!! Even with 75,000 miles, it's clearly the best quality vehicle we've ever driven, including the expedition we purchased new in '98. Rock solid, smooth and ultra-quiet. In our opinion, a much better value than a comparably priced new rig.
One Great SUV
I bought this suv new and it has never been back to the dealer except for regular maintenace. I have 72,000miles on it and everyone who rides in it and drives it loves this suv.
Simply the Best
I bought the truck 5 yrs ago with 185,000 miles, it now has 232,000 on the clock. It is the best car I've owned period. Solid, reliable and trust worthy. It is my daily driver and my weekend adventure vehicle. I would not hesitate to take it from NY to California or through the back country of the Catskills. The engine and transmission is smooth as silk and it now has a classic style, and I like it. Everything on this truck works, I have not had to replace anything except the battery and breaks. I upgraded the suspension and tires for off road duties and plan to add a few more upgrades for specialized off road adventures. This one is a keeper.

Dream Car
The smoothest SUV I've ever driven. We have taken three trips over 500 hundred mile each and this vehicle makes each trip a joy. Talk about smooth...We bought it with over 76,000 miles on it and it drives like new. This is our third SUV and by far the best. The 4Runner is wonderful but it is but a "mini-me" when compared to the Cruiser.
The Crusher
Great overall vehicle. strong, firm, plush, exudes confidence, safe. Its been great and it will do anything I ask of it. I've had a few problems which is not Toyota-like. climate control system went...brakes squeak and exhaust system rattles...Stereo weak..other than that, this thing will go anywhere, towing just about anything, in complete comfort, safety and luxury.
