Cheaply made car, fraudulent dealer, DEFECTIVE CAR

Toyota has a reputation for quality and reliability -- this is absolutely untrue today. The car was poorly build at the factory with inner doors not fully painted, dents, and more troubling the car was built without a plug installed for the safety system harness. The car never functioned properly since day 1. The selling dealership New Country Toyota of Westport, CT, committed fraud signing off on the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI). The repairing dealership Toyota Manhattan, NYC, dinged, scratched, and put blue ball point pen marks on the tan seat. Dealing with Toyota Corporate has been hell. STAY AWAY.

My brand new 2021 Toyota Highlander has very bad wind noise specially 40 mph. Because of to much with heard from outside, I can't drive long on the highway. The wind comes both driver and passenger side very loud. I'm taking to the dealer this weekend and I hope they will fix it. Spent a lot of money and I'm very concerned.

Great car but whistling will drive you crazy

2021 Toyota Highlander Platinum 4dr SUV AWD (3.5L 6cyl 8A)

I bought a 2021 Toyota Highlander Platinum Hybrid. Love the space of the car and the great gas mileage. But I do not recommend getting a Highlander until they fix the whistling noise. Which at times can be very shrill. It will drive you crazy. I am at the point of trading kine in for a different vehicle as I am in my car too much to have to listen to a whistling sound most of the day.

Just purchased a new 2021 Highlander Platinum and I absolutely live it. Specifically wanted the Moon Dust color with black interior and it was different to find but I am glad I didn’t compromise. All of the safety features are very comforting and the 12.3 in dashboard screen is a big improvement. The platinum has all of the bells and whistles which I enjoy. Running boards are a nice touch and the V-6 provides plenty of power. I have owned two previous Highlanders and I think they are a great value. The vehicle is very functional and runs on regular gas. What could be better??

Just picked up my new Highlander and didn't even get it off the lot before I had a warning light about faulty brakes. The dealer spent 10 days with it couldn't fix it didn't know why it was reporting a fault. Eventually they found a faulty computor system in the vehicle. Six months later another brake problem occured while I was traveling in the US.
